Plus no matter your hardware, Windows 8's reduced memory usage and better memory management does provide noticeable benefits for games like Skyrim

@Bvigil: There's also no reason to not have Windows 8 if you have good gaming hardware. Windows 8 isn't slimmed down or anything, and it looks better than Windows 7, despite not having aero.(a

Windows 8 is fine if you don't have a great overall computer because it uses damn near no RAM or CPU to run however if you're running good gaming hardware there's no reason to not have Win

@Hatty It has some minor issues with past gen/older games for the PC. Newer games like Battlefield 4 would be one of those that suites best for Windows 8 on the performance based.
