alltheabove - svhost i THINK uses up any portion you aren't using for other things, to sort of fill in the blank. So the more it uses, the better? I am not 100% on this though.

hey, this probs isn't the best place, but anyone know how to resolve svchost eating up 100% of the cpu? on my gaming comp, i've had to quit a lot recently cuz svchost was causing massive lag..

1 Gb left on a hard drive is bad, belive it or not the computer needs at least 2 gb of space to run properly. If its only 1gb of ram then its just a crap computer.
