Backup your maps by either sending them to My Documents, your you can re-install Halo to get your old maps back in case you forgot.

it doesnt take forever... if you want help this is the steps. 1 Download Map. 2. Right Click Halo, Go 2 Properties. 3. Open File Location. 4. Go to Maps Folder, and put the modded maps there. 5. Backu

copy them in your documents or soemthing. Master A to make it easier, just replace them and when the halloween event is over, re-install halo. The regular maps wil come back.
