im starting to wish I didn't live in a remote mountain location. I cant find an isp that will give me the time of day let alone high speed internet. I mean well sure if I decide to pay for them to run around 11 miles of line a cable company might. I could maybe blow off the top of the mountain so satellite works? meh when I do finally figure it out or say screw it and move ill be back

Instead of waiting, they have ways to "beam" internet to your house. Not only that, if you work for your own business(which I do) you can also just beam the internet from your work. They even have dishes that can have obstructions and you will still get great signal.
My bosses house is getting beamed internet right now. He lives about 3 miles from his house and there are trees, buildings, and hills in the way yet he still gets 4bar signals from his work. Though, it may cost close to $500 or more.... Just a thought
