It's clearly a money grubbing scheme made by companies to control the internet's domain. I am against it unless someone can convince me otherwise that it's for the best. The way I see it, once we let them control the internet, there's no getting it back to the way it once was before.
I signed the petition too, hopefully it won't end up in vain.
I hope net neutrality gets taken away. Piracy runs rampant among the seedy sites; and with slower speeds to sites that can't afford to pay, piracy rates will go way down.
The internet is a business and it should be moderated like one. The powerful and law abiding sites should get preference over sites that break laws on a daily basis.
Anyways, with that out of the way, I really don't care either way. I don't torrent, and most sites I use are large sites that can afford to buy good connections.
