I've never had experienced this error before, but Google is your best friend as I found some steps which may help you resolve this issue:
How to Fix NTLDR Errors:
1) Restart the PC. The NTLDR error could be a fluke.
2) Check your floppy and optical (CD/DVD/BD) drives for media and disconnect any external drives. Often times, the "NTLDR is Missing" error will appear if your PC is trying to boot to a non-bootable floppy disk, CD/DVD/BD, or external hard drive or flash drive.
Note: If you find that this is the cause of your problem and it's happening a lot, you might want to consider changing the boot order in BIOS so the hard drive with Windows installed is listed first.
3) Check the hard drive and other drive settings in BIOS and ensure they are correct. The BIOS configuration tells the computer how to use a drive so incorrect settings can cause problems, including NTLDR errors.
Note: There is usually an Auto setting for hard drive and optical drive configurations in BIOS which is usually a safe bet if you're not sure what to do.
4) Restore the NTLDR and ntdetect.com files from the Windows XP CD. Restoring these two important system files from the original Windows XP CD may do the trick.
5) Repair or replace the boot.ini file. This will prevent the NTLDR error if the cause of the problem is a boot.ini file that is not configured properly for your Windows XP installation.
6) Write a new partition boot sector to the Windows XP system partition. If the partition boot sector has become corrupt or isn't properly configured, you may receive the "NTLDR is Missing" error.
7) Repair the Windows XP master boot record. NTLDR error messages may also appear if the master boot record is corrupt.
8) Reseat all internal data and power cables. NTLDR error messages could be caused by loose or malfunctioning IDE cables.
Try replacing the IDE cable cable if you suspect it might be faulty.
9) Update your motherboard's BIOS. Occasionally, an outdated BIOS version can cause the "NTLDR is Missing" error.
10) Perform a repair installation of Windows XP. This type of installation should replace any missing or corrupt files. Continue troubleshooting if this does not resolve the issue.
11) Perform a clean installation of Windows XP. This type of installation will completely remove Windows XP from your PC and install it again from scratch. While this will almost certainly resolve any NTLDR errors, it is a time consuming process due to the fact that all of your data must be backed up and then later restored.
If you can't gain access to your files to back them up, understand that you will lose them all if you continue with a clean installation of Windows XP.
12) Replace the hard drive and then perform a new installation of Windows XP. If all else has failed, including the clean installation from the last step, you're most likely facing a hardware issue with your hard drive.

ntldr error means:
the load file for windows is gone. its a common issue.
first and for most have you changed your config (Windows, hard drives, new peripherals, etc?)
2nd Any new Anti-virus or applications?
3rd what version of windows
the file can be recovered often without the repair disk, but first we must discover why it was removed. or just disabled. your windows install should be fine if that is the only file missing. and it can be corrupted if it was shut down wrong due to power loss, etc... |

Also if your computer doesn't boot up to the Windows and Desktop screen, then I would recommend restarting it again, and whenever it says "Press whatever key to load up to the Boot Config screen", hit that key. Once you're at the Boot Config screen, start Windows in a Safe Mode Without Networking by pressing ENTER on that option. Once your desktop loaded in a Windows 98 looking layout, go to your Start menu\All Accessories folder\System Tools folder\till you finally see System Restore there. Click on that and then revert the time/date back to maybe let's say like 2 days ago if there's an option for the selected time and date there or to show a full list of previous time/date. So please go ahead and do the System Restore. System Restore might help you replace back the deleted/missing NTDLR file. But you gotta remember when that error had started to occur and then System Restore to any previous dates before the date/time from experiencing that error.

Without ntldr, your not even loading the kernel, let alone the shell. the MBR is read after B.I.O.S., and points to ntldr (N.T. Loader), to boot the O/S. |

Agghh, I see. I had never experienced that error before in my life. I don't know what UGK/Coco did to get himself into that situation, but when I Google searched for the possible solutions to fix it, that website provided with the list of the things you would need to do in order to resolve the issue. So it's up to UGK/Coco now to see if all the steps he tried from there + the post you made had worked or not. If it doesn't, then please let us know about it, UGK/Coco and I will try to help you find more solutions.

OH! I know this problem! Have fixed it many times!!!!! What you need to do is download Spotmau '09 or '10 i believe it is. Once you download the DvD ISO burn it to a CD/DvD using ImgBurn or whatever you use.
One you have that done, put it in the computer and boot it up to the cd. When you get to the CD you go to file system or recovery of system files. It checks your OS then shows what you are missing. You click "Recover NTLDR" then restart the computer once you have done that. Should fix it.

ALSO, This may have been cause by bad sectors on your HDD. These are REPAIRABLE no matter what anyone else says. I have done this many times. What you need to do is is download HDD Regenerator 1.71. I have the install and crack so you dont need to pay. Once u have it installed, you can make a bootable disc for it that runs in dos and you can scan your hard drive from there. Very easy. If you need or want the program i have it zipped up.

@Slim Windows XP, and ya there was a new app but forgot what it was named i think it was DLL finder or somethin, and A CD finder? or somethin like that. And I changed my system settings to make my comp run smoother , it was on this youtube video about CC Cleaner

If you're downloading any 3rd party type of software, make sure you do some research about it first before downloading and installing it right away for safety. And also make sure that you don't visit any torrent/piracy type of website because most of them are untrusted. So if you can, ask Slim on more info about it to see if he can help you the right program or steps into resolving this issue. As for CCleaner, I made a thread about it here on where to download and how to use it:

ok have you access to a pc with a cd burner aswell as a blank disc,
i can link you to a free MSDN repair disc, not a windows install disc, justa boot disc that can fix it. interested? |
