So I posted a "Random Thread" in CnR and it did not go as planned. What I want is kind of a weird, or what you find interesting thread.
For instance: About four days ago, I was listening to 99.5 Kiss (FM Radio) and I heard that not only have 42% of the U.S. tried weed, but that it was in the same species of plant as "Hops" that are in beer. I do not want this to be a drug thread. Especially if it is against ZA protocol. I find alot amazing. Like last year in hmmm I dont know if I should say the class. Lets just say that there are other planets out there that may or may not have life. So without furthur ado let us start out this thread.

P.S. I'm a little afraid of what the younger people might post, however I know there is no really "mature" spot on the forum.
I wondered to myself before watching and knowing this that could there possibly be any water in the planet of Mars? Some experts said there used to be long time ago way before mankind or maybe even the dinosaurs had existed. So let's say if Earth's natural resources and living environment finally came to an end after millions of years later, could human life start fresh on Mars and water be produced there as well?

If Earth's natural resources were depleted, we'd have just as much chance of restarting the cycle here as restarting Mars's atmosphere and life cycle. Mars has gone through pretty much the same thing that we expect to happen to Earth eventually, according to some theories, so if we could reinhabit Mars, we could use the same miraculous tech that you might think we could use to do that... to reinhabit Earth, which would be a much better plan... you know, considering how much bigger Earth is.
But regardless, in millions of years time, we'll have at least developed sufficient technology to sustain long term space travel.(cryostasis should be developed within the next few decades, though we might not even need it, as technology which can extend human lifecycles is also being developed)
So populating a tiny planet like Mars would be both wasteful and pointless, since we could just go inhabit much some of the much larger earth-like planets out there.

Yes, when Earth was still developing its atmosphere, Mars had a ocean that would have covered the entire world 10 feet deep in water. Unfortunately, Mars was too small to sufficiently retain enough of its atmosphere and it slowly leaked away.

Depends how you define 'intelligent' life. If intelligent means being on the potential level of humans, there is most certainly other intelligent life out there somewhere, as humans really aren't that advanced biologically, and culturally, we've been dragged down by primitive instincts ever since humans came into existance. (I'm assuming tech doesn't come into definining intelligence on this scale, as if tech does factor in, there is no doubt at all in my mind that other civilizations exist which are far more advanced than ours. It's inevitable)
There is actually a fairly high probabability that there exists a species out there which is not only as intelligent as us but which also boasts more sophisticated insincts.(Seriously, what is with so many futuristic movies suggesting that we're the civilized ones? We are primitive. We may be civilized compared to other species on our planet, but independently, we are primitive)

Valid point.. I'm not about to start a debate about intelligence and how to define it (I'm probably the least qualified to do so )..I'm just throwin the idea out there..
