Sup,
Do any of you have a Halo PC setup Installer, or know where I can install online? My laptop doesn't have a CD Drive.
Thx,

The image file reader/open program is called Daemon Tools Lite which can be found here:
Clickable URL: http://www.daemon...downloads/
Source: http://www.daemon-tools.cc/downloads/
*** JUST A REMINDER TO EVERYONE ***
Please do not discuss about the source of getting a copy of the game illegally here. This involves in both getting the game itself + the product key for it. We do not allow that in the forums. Thanks for understanding.

Given that this is a former member, If your asking for the Source files to install Halo, Using YOUR Original CD-Key, Legally you can use a backup of the install files. However if your asking for a CD-Key aswell then this thread will be terminated. we here must respect copyright here, if you must then do so out of public eyes.
I Am obligated to enforce this policy. |

I have my own original CD key that I paid to acquire (came with the CD). Now I only need a backup of the install files.

If you still have the CD, and you have friends, see my above suggestion then.
Or look for a download yourself.
It's against the law for anyone to provide you with the files, whether it's legal for you to download them or not. |

Incorrect, safe harbor exists for backups, communal or individual. |

You can legally put your 'own' Halo installation files as an image file using softwares such as WinImage or PowerISO from your game disc which isn't an illegal thing to do as long as you're not giving away the image file copy of the game to others.. As for the ones who do not have it, you cannot ask/discuss about it here as Slim along with the forums rules apply that piracy isn't allowed here.

Yep. Although he cannot ask for the installation files from someone in the forums here as then that would involve in piracy. Asking for the product key would be in the same category.

Yes, that was my point, i.e. he can copy the installation files himself, but nobody else can give him the installation files, because then they'd be redistributing the game, which is not allowed |
