 So I have this xfire issue that's really been bothering me as I can't load up xfire and I get this "x86" error. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, along with trying to get the newer version of xfire 2.0 and still, same x86 error. I took a screen shot,i hope it helps.

I have been getting that problem as well, I uninstalled my xfire then i deleted my xfire folder in program files and re-installed the old version. Apparently a lot of people have been getting this problem O_O. The ticket thing seems to work for me so iv messaged them with the info.

 This happened to me a lot before I wiped my computer, whenever I tried to start up xfire it would often crash and give me a weird error. I usually had to cntrl, alt, del into the task manager and kill the process sometimes if it was still there. Xfire would work after I started it and let it crash a few times though.

As Saviour said if you try and uninstall and reinstall make sure to search your computer for any leftover files and delete them before reinstalling

 Simple solution:

Don't use shitty Xfire v2.0 and use the good old Classic v1.0. Smile

Make sure you first uninstall the current Xfire v2.0 and delete any Xfire files from Program Files, Program Files (x86), ProgramData, and AppData. Then download/extract this Classic old version installer with winrar which is the best. You can even revert back to the cool looking Shadow skin:

 yeah i have been getting the weird error with 2.0 but it still runs weirdly enough. Also noticed alot of AMD/ATI dlls attached. Which makes me wonder if its the DirectX attachment process possibly.

At the moment I would probably just uninstall the client and the codec for 2.0 and utilize the older 1.0 client att till they figure out whats exactly causing the error.
