I felt like talking about everyones worst experiences with games ported to the PC
I'll start off with an obvious one
Dark Souls
The game is literally unplayable if you don't have a controller to plug in to your pc the mouse and keyboard controls are actually the worst things to ever exist
Xiii I loved the game on xbox and have been searching for a genuine version for PC, Found one but have yet to play it as the installation process is frustrating.

Halo 2 Vista
Tell that to 2. He loved Halo 2 so much, he made his ingame name 2.
Anyways, loads of games are terribly ported.
Dark Souls, as many mentioned before.
Dead Space is not well ported. You need V-Sync to be on if you get higher than 60 fps. If you get higher than 60fps and you don't have V-sync on, you can't get past the first chapter.
This happens. YouTube Video
I heard the CoD games that were released since Black Ops II were poorly ported (or optimized, I don't know if it was a port or not).
If you also want to include poorly optimized games, ArmA II is total shit. I never get 60+fps on that game.
GTA IV was also poorly ported. I had a pain in the ass trying to make the game full screen with a higher resolution and better graphics. It was locked on 800x600 windowed mode with every single setting put down as low as possible. Mods are fun for that though!
I'm sure I can think of more as time goes on.

A variety of shaders are simply missing from the game(including almost all of the weapon reflection shaders, and most of the main menu Halo ring reflection shaders, and some covie vehicle shaders)
The network code is horrible...
And there are several more issues, but I don't have time to list them right now since I'm letting my bro borrow my computer for mp while his friend's here, and he'll be back in a few minutes.
That's because you haven't been around as long as I have.
I've been around for a long time.
Umm..Maybe not your community type of Halo. I came from the pro leagues of Halo known as Klan Wars and Halo PC Tournament.
I started playing Halo Trial ever since it first came out on October 2003 and made my first Xfire in June 2006.
I've been playing it since it came out in '03 as well.
I was really young at the time (not even 10 yet, in fact I was far below the age of 10). I came to ZA when I found their servers in the first or [early] second year that the clan was founded.

If we're talking about netcode and stuff, it can be argued that Battlefield 4 (though I doubt it was a console port) was and still is (though not as much) a pile of crap. The netcode is still atrocious and just until today I haven't been able to get on servers.

I'm 16.
Anyways, lets get back on topic!
I heard from several people that Assassin's Creed 4 was poorly made for PC when it was launched, but Ubisoft quickly released some patches. I heard that the game capped at 60 or 30 frames per second when V-Sync was off. Luckily they patched it though, as I said already.

Contrary to what Bvigil says, Just Cause 2 doesn't run that well on PC. I think it was ported because for a split second, I saw it say "Press Start" before it took me to the main menu. And I was using my mouse and keyboard. Also the game takes about a minute to boot up for me and it crashes randomly.
The multiplayer is made for PC though, and it is quite awesome. Puts GTA online to shame.
