Think we should stay out, or go in?

As much as I'd like to say "that's what she said" to that; We should stay out. America has enough problems without helping out all the other people. Now, if they could actually pay us for helping them, I'd be for it. Usually in cases like these its more of a charity thing, and given the amount of debt that this country has, we can't afford to spend even more money on another country.

The problem is we don't know who we would be putting in charge take bin laden for example we armed his people to fight the soviets and look where that got us we get aid to Saddam when he was fighting Iran too, we don't know if they will still be our allies a decade from now. If we go in we might only pave the way for someone worse to take power or even throw the country into a state of civil war for quite some time.
Not to mention Syria's allies take Iran for example may back them up which could lead to a regional conflict when israel jumps at the chance to not only back their american friends but to strike Iran who they have sour relations with, we could be opening a can of worms here.
I say we aid the U.N in an attempt to disable their chemical weapons and then back out we don't have the money to spend and frankly since we don't get involved in every conflict I say its not our business
TL;DR we might make the same mistake of giving aid as we did with bin laden and Saddam. out of all the bloody conflicts why syria? Iran will back syria up Israel will back us up = regional war can of worms style. we should aid the U.N to disable the weapons by force if needed.

I say let the Syrians kill each other, then gas the rest of them. |

The idea of no boots on the ground is nice and all but it could turn out to be quite binding, what if one of our pilots get shot down and captured? if they insist on doing it that way no boots on the ground should be flexable so we can send a small team in to recover said pilot.

I should say stay out of it. Let them handle with their own issues.
