First thing is first, I humbly thank you for giving me another chance to be here, because here is where all my friends reside, besides the ones I have gained in =DG=. Onto the point of why I joined you guys once again, I joined you because I have friends here...I didn't want them to be mad or have malicious intent towards me, I know I can be a bit weird, or even annoying at times. I just want to have friends who like me for who I am inside, even if I'm just an anime dork...I like my friends here, they helped me get far in my life since I left here 10 months ago. I didn't think I would be the same again after my dad passed away July 18th, 2012. Another reason for coming back, is my goal here in ZA. My goal here is to reach admin rank, I don't care which rank it is, whether it be trial admin or level 3. I just want to reach my goal. I know most of you are thinking "then why did he come back, to just reach his goal". I came back because I have tons of respect for you guys who got me out of the dumps when my dad passed away. I mean I was heartbroken...I was in a depression for a long time...whenever I went to sleep I would just think back to the last time I talked to him and gave him a hug before the morning he died in his sleep. As I have mentioned here is where most of my friends reside, and my goal is to reach admin. Then and only then will I be able to leave peacefully and stay gone. I know all of you are going "He wanted power, and that's why he came back". I'm a =DG= Captain away from here...power has nothing to do with me just wanting to achieve my goal. I just want to be like you guys...admins...members, but I know my quest has just started anew, but that won't stop me from trying my best. I thank you all again for giving me this chance to try again, and I hope I cleared the smoke from your eyes as to why I am here once again.

This is very disturbing to me. Joining ZA just to get admin? That's not what you made it seem in your interview:

Getting admin is no reason to ever join any clan and it's insulting that you say so. I can't be the only one that thinks it, either - since your thread has many views but no replies. People don't know what to say about it.

And I am just noticing you say you're leaving when you get admin. Why would anyone give admin to someone who wants to rank then abandon his post.

I'm starting to think your a fairly troubled individual Kanna. Are you really sure this is what you want? I'm finding it kind of hard to think so. Not putting you down at all, just think you need to sit down and think about what you said here.

Please be easy on him. He still has his share of traumatic experiences in the past. But it is always good to talk to him and warn him whenever he says something troubling.
And Kanna, getting admin/power should not end goal for any clans/organization. In fact, it is essential meaningless without the support, camaraderie, and the relationships with the members. It is the means not the results that matter. Trust me, I also learned this from the hard way in Halo and real life, and been through some depressive phases too.

I am going easy, I haven't raged, or cursed, or insulted anyone - but even if I wasn't, why should I? I have to do what is best for this clan as a whole. Plus - he posted a thread because he wanted a discussion, isn't that was forums are for? Additionally - he's asking for people to understand where he's coming from and we do and we're not okay with it. He's come here for adminship. I'm very very not okay with that.
Further more - his tone towards me is usually insulting under the guise of being a victim - which he's doing here to the whole clan. He accuses us of not being able to see clearly with the "smoke in our eyes" and not wanting us to have "malicious intent towards" him. If those are the kinds of blind malicious people he thinks we are - why is he here?

I said what I thought in the other thread. I Remember the first time he joined the clan all he wanted was admin and I had to slow him down a bit because he was getting a bit to carried away. I think I even had to talk to Star about it. I most likely still have the chat log for the convo's on xfire. I didn't want to bring this up because I thought you wouldn't be let back in... But yea, like I said in the other thread, I like you Kanna and I respect you but I really don't think ZA is the place for you. I also didn't want to say this but you really need to stop playing the "feel sorry for me" card. I know it was massive for you losing your dad but it's nearly your excuse for everything. I know I'm not the only one thinking this. Sorry but It had to be said. |

Ok I see how things are turning out so far, and I'm starting to think this place is not for me, but what about the servers....I go there and have fun with you guys and sometimes try to help you keep order. To me that is good enough, I know we had some bad times here, but if this is the end of the road of ZA for me...then I gladly leave you guys alone on these forums.
If you guys EVER want to find me... Xfire or www.dgclan.com is where i'm at. go ahead and remove my tags and send me on my way back to =DG= and put my name as =DG=Kurumi. See you all around.
ps~ for what it's worth my friends, i'm sorry that I pissed you off or anything of the sort. I hope we can still be friends....See you guys around as well.

Please don't jump on Kanna like he's some sort of convicted criminal - he's been voted in as a trial member and hence deserves a fair trial as a member of ZA.
You highlight his aspiration to become an admin as if's the only thing he mentioned in that post. Note that his primary reason (stated first, and repeatedly thereafter and in his interview) is to be with 'friends', those who have supported him.
On most membership interviews (including his), we ask 'If you are accepted into the clan would you eventually want to be considered for a position as an admin?' If they answer yes, we don't criticise them for being power-hungry!
Obtaining admin rank is a valid goal - our ranking system is based on members vying to improve their rank. Clearly, it shouldn't be the only reason to be a part of the clan (think friendship, mutual support, having fun, etc). Correspondingly, this is very clearly not the only reason Kanna applied (again) to ZA - he's reaching out to ZA as friends.
You say that ZA isn't right for him, and maybe that's true but I'd argue that it's not necessarily through fault of his own. If someone's continually rejected from a community despite their continued respect for its members, then frankly shame on its members and may he find somewhere more accepting.

Think about it this way, if one of his goals was to reach admin, he obviously was willing to put in effort to reach that goal. How would you react if someone joined and said "my goal is to do the bare minimum required to maintain recruit rank and barely meet activity requirements"
I would much rather have someone in the clan who is willing to work up the ranks then have someone who is happy sitting at private logging in only to appease the requirements.
And anyways as ninja stated, being an admin wasn't his only reason for coming back.

Me and him have had this competition since we both joined ZA which was who was first to get admin, it has always been his goal and he thought this time he would achieve it....but i guess not |

I like Kanna, don't get me wrong, I would consider him to be my friend but some things aren't meant to be. He has had a few goes at being in this clan and both those times have ended in pretty similar fashion. (Not trying to be mean I know he left one of the times because of a tragedy) I know he has good intentions and being an admin is a good and realistic goal to have, but in his post it seems that this is the MAIN reason for him re-joining as he states he will leave and stay gone once this goal is achieved. Yes, their is other reasons for him re-joining such as being with his friends etc but in my opinion this far outweighs them. Not picking on him just stating how I feel about all of this. |

I thank you guys humbly for sticking up for/with me. I really do have wonderful friends here, but I admitted in my heart that dreams to aspire to admin rank here are for lack a better word "poison". You dream to be an admin in ZA. I love my friends here, but I won't stay here if this "admin" and "goal" stepping is poised to continue...I love my friends and I have you all to thank for hearing me out...one last time.
