I think it's about time I need a new pc. This one is like 10 years old and it's falling apart piece by piece 
I need something like a gaming pc so I can play games and do regular stuff like a normal pc. I don't want to build my own, I don't have the patience for that lol. 
I have this website which is really cool, but if you guys know any other websites and good pcs then please let me know.

You need to give us more info about what you are going to use it for and what games you want to be able to play. I also need to know if you want a laptop or desktop.

desktop for normal use and gaming as well. I dont have any specific games that i will buy but i want good graphics and fast pc. I have found some good ones but around 2k xD

Alien ware is way to expensive, you can get the same specs etc for way less than what they charge from another company... You should post the ones you found so we can have a look, |

I agree. If you look at the way they price their Comp's, way more than the competition and Ive seen better up'd comps lower than what Alienware charges, just a matter of where you look and how savy you are with buying comp components.

I'm sort of confused here. Stuntman, aren't you a networking college major? I thought they tought computer specifications in the classes you took? If you are, I would think that you would know what your looking for already. Just saying, not criticizing here. The main things you would be looking for are high RAM(4gigs minimum), gigz processor of 2.3 or > at least and a HD graphics card installed with 256 or greater. Other than that brand name has no meaning necessarily. |

Don't buy an e-machine..bought one a decade ago, those things work for a while, but fall apart fast and all at once. Think they're sold in best buy stores.. yeah alienware's are overpriced..but then again, so are *some* macs?

As a baseline to compare to, you can choose the GTX 550 TI. I have the 550 ti and it's a mid level card capable of playing BF3 on med settings getting about 40 fps when coupled with a decent processor. BF3 is one of the most graphics intensive games on the market atm. Crysis 3 is another graphics intensive game.
Like I said you kinda have to know if you want to do latest games or just play halo with 800 fps.
Also keep in mind that better graphics cards require a large power supply. So if you want a GTX 660 ti youll likely need at least a 600 watt psu.

For Graphics Card:
How much you are willing to spend on the graphics card? I'll select the best choice for you on that list.
For RAM:
8 GB [4 GB X2] DDR3-2133 Memory Module More Options[+$24]
^ That should be enough and rape because Windows really doesn't need more than 8 gigs of RAM, and plus each of that is at 2133 MHZ.
For Power Supply Unit aka Watts, it really matters of the graphics card you choose. So if you want a single high end GPU, then you should get at least 750 Watts (750 Watt - Corsair CMPSU-750TXV2 Free Upgrade to 850 Watt Corsair CMPSU-850TXV2 ($20 Savings)[+$104]).
And as for SLI/Crossfire, then I would go for the 850 Watts (850 Watt - Corsair CMPSU-850AX [+$175] because Corsair brand Power Supplies are always the best).

I would suggest you get the AMD FX-8350 which is a free upgrade from the 8150. If you get the best processor now you won't have to upgrade nearly as soon. Plus I've heard this can be overclocked to nearly 5.0 Ghz.

That is the same motherboard and processor I have, lol. Also I was able to get my processor up to 5.1ghz, not very stable though. I clocked it down to 4.5ghz which is stable. I think the motherboard was kinda bottlenecking it though but yea... I would go with the 8350 though, it is AMD's latest and best chip to date and is not that expensive... But that motherboard is fine as long as you're not doing anything to crazy...
