Hey guys, as of recently our servers have been a bit inactive, but I noticed that Classic is becoming more populated lately and that we are drawing in regular members from our other servers to join us. I'd like to start a group called the Classic Coalition, which would help populate the Classic server even more, educate the public on how it works, and potentially draw in some new members. Since the Classic server has a variety of game types, it'd be an ideal place to teach those that aren't quite sure of zombies how it works, while showing the history of panics and how the clan started in a manually ran server.
We will hold events such as the Classic ZA nights, help show new members that are unfamiliar with Classic how all the gametypes work, give new admins a chance to train, and hold specific game type events similar to scrims. By encouraging regular members from our other servers, we could potentially draw in more clan recruits as well. The more recruits, the more people we have to help populate all of our servers.
To ensure activity it is asked that when applying that you answer our provided questions just to get an idea of what you'd like to contribute and how active you will be.
We will be having public events, since this md is to promote activity in Classic. Events will be posted here and be bumped/updated accordingly.

This sounds like a pretty good idea.
What servers will these new members come from? From ZA owned ones, or independently run servers?
Also, members will advertise our group in these servers that do not belong to ZA?
Another thing, its good to keep in mind that since Classic is an unscripted server, admins will have to be "on call" and always be prepared to step in whenever needed.
Other than that, it's a great idea and I am looking forward to seeing where this will take us.

People both in and out of clan can join mds, and I'd imagine people that are regulars in our ZA servers (as well as our clan members) would be the only ones to know of, and in turn join this md. Just as is it discouraged to advertise joining ZA in other servers, there will be no advertising of this in non ZA servers.

I have one thought though. surely this is basically like just being an active memeber ? I mean everyone will be on the classics server at somepoint. Or will these events be specifically for md members ? |

The purpose of the md is to have a group of those interested that can be counted on to both plan and attend events. By doing this we know the people in the md are dedicated and likely to go to the events, since they plan them.
