Script Break in Stats Experiences..

Numpty Posts: 1425 Joined: 19.07.12	Just to begin, I am not advocating anyone trying to intentionally break the script in stats or in any other za servers! I am just curious as to what everyone's first experience or any interesting stories as to when the script broke and everyone freaks out..From personal experience, I usually end up being the lms (last man standing) on pro stats and I die very quickly because i freak out running around the map trying to shoot everyone, or I'm already a zombie and I'm too far to infect anyone. xD Usually everyone Rtv's or if it's near the end, just infect everyone.. /moderators if this is a taboo topic, delete it if you want

So I quickly noticed that the script broke, and all of the humans were crammed in the ramp, so I had a needler and needled 10 of them LOL. The splash killed most of them too, which was the funniest infects ever. Pissed myself laughing that day, like always xD I WILL BREAK YOUR POTS AND STEAL YOUR RUPEES

I know what happens, but i'm not an expert as to the mechanics...all I know is the effects of when it does happen. Also, it's also funnier when zombies can't be killed and humans can..if both can't be killed, then plain old rtv works, unless not everyone rtv's. It's fun if only zombies can't be killed and to see how long humans last..or in the other way, zombies can shoot!

Newbie Posts: 2 Joined: 27.05.12	Scripts breaking means that something in a function has gone wrong. It crashes that function and sometimes other functions build off of that function. Anything that deals with that function will not work. My first time I was lms and they would not kill me so I was just standing still and killing them.

I've only been to classic recently, and heard the game system is different there, so I'm guessing it wouldn't happen at classic. Would it happen in alpha stats or rankwarz or pro 2? Super Admin Posts: 4174 Joined: 15.11.10	All of our servers run Phasor, so if a script is active they are potentially prone to breaking, but more script-intensive servers like Pro Stats or Rankwarz are more likely to break than those such as Classic that only use Phasor minimally. Super Admin Posts: 4725 Joined: 14.11.10	99% of script breaks that exist today are due to stats. but averaging 1 minor script break a weak (meaning, no affect on gameplay except for the player whose stats data was not saved) an 1 major every 2 weeks (effects apply to all players), i can live with it while i search for a solution.
