Hey guys! I saw the sub-forum of fan-fiction after I realized I couldn't post in the page. So, I don't have it all yet, but here's a little preview for you all.
"The human must be burned! Burned! With the rest of his unholy, incompetent race!" A roar of cheers was heard from the council chambers, Unggoy shuffled among the ranks as Sangheili Honor Guards stood stiff along the walls. A few appreciative grunts were heard from them, but they were as uneasy as the grunts. The prophet held his hand up, and the room went quiet immediately, so low you could hear a single whisper. "While you have a valid point, Arbiter, there is one thing hindering this Journey. We must use him. And he has refused to help us, until one thing is resolved. A demon, named Remorse." A few murmurs were heard around the lit-up area. The tension could almost be felt with a touch. The arbiter stepped forward slowly, un-eager to speak. "Supreme Prophet of Regret, I understand this, but must we search for this human? At this point, our hostage could not stand against us. We are immune to him. Why must we grant this futile wish?"
The human stood from his seat, and walked towards the Arbiter. The Honor Guards reached to stop him, but Regret spoke loud enough for an echo to be present. "Let him pass." His voice was calm, yet as firm as any elite could muster. "I wish to set my ears upon his reason. Please, demon, bring your wish into focus." Regret's hands folded as he paid as much as attention as possible.
A grin was present on the human's face. "Thank you," if there was one thing he was good at; it was diplomacy. " I only have one wish," he said, facing the High Council with his arms stretched wide, "Is that too much to ask? I offer you a chance to rid of an enemy that may plague you for the rest of your lives!" He said, turning to face the prophet with a slight glare. "If you do not kill him while you can, you will not last for the journey, and I can guarantee that. He will not stop but to hunt you down." He let those words sink in the crowd, and Regret. "His home is gone. What else does he have left? Only the training to stop every Covenant soldier that gets in his way." He held the glare with the prophet. The arbiter beside him resonated a light growl.
The prophet squinted slightly, nodding a few times. "Very well, demon, we will grant you this wish. This Spartan will stand no chance against the will of the Gods. We are their instrument. and we will not stop until this Human is crushed to dust in our hands."
Will they ever listen to me,
if they give me this wreath of gold
Will their thoughts and actions
mimic what I foretold?
When the end comes
and they weep with sorrow
I will stand with no remorse
nor cry for death tomorrow
Also, some of you may have seen my previous preview for "Remorse of the Wicked" but I have come to the conclusion that it may not be very entertaining without allowing some other people in the mix. I am not allowing other people to collaborate on it, yet I do have an idea.
If anyone wishes to have a "role" in this story, please feel free to post a reply on this, send me a message on Xfire, or talk to me in one of the ZA and/or FC servers. *NOTE/WARNING* There won't be as many of you that get to participate in a very long part. There will be a select few people that actually get to survive...for the time being And also, I strongly suggest that you read the previous fanfic post I made, Because one of you may be the "Bad guy" I strongly suggest you consider this.
