I have decided that i am not going to be server active anymore. I am going to only attend scrims/tournaments/clan wars etc. I am going to be extremely Site active from now on. This is only a trial so i can change my mind and play halo without chat which is a 30% chance. I might play a zombie game or 2 every month.

Permanently, but i was asking, can i change this decision if it is permanently? Because it only a trial perma.

That wouldn't be really like someone in a halo clan. You'd basically just be a person on a forum.

Make sure you don't have use00 or useff enabled in the command line parameter along with a graphics card that can actually run Halo like the GeForce 6200 or higher if you are using a desktop. (F*ck integrated graphics. It always fails with low quality graphical errors and amount of FPS)

Something doesn't make sense. I sent him a PM with some basics instructions to clean up his PC first. Couple of programs to download and run and fix. He replied nothing works. Well, if nothing works how is he still browsing the internet and signing into foodclan? If you can do that Joseph please follow the instruction I sent you which is very simple and let me know how it turns out. Typically the problems your describing can be caused by exponential increases of malware / adware etc...

I think it's more of a graphical error than the whole PC error. It would also be helpful if I knew the name/brand of his graphics card if his computer has one.

1. i have windows on my mac (its been BOOTCAMPED). 2. i do have a Windows Vista pc which halo is installed on there and chat doesnt work on that also. and @ezrab chat used to work perfectly fine on my windows/mac.
Here are my mac/windows (bootcamped) details.
Processor : 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory : 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics : NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB
is there any more info you need if so tell me.
@herc i did everything you said in your PM and downloaded programs and scaned it did everything. found some issues, i fixed them. but nothing worked.

Are you pirating Halo? I had a similar issue a while back with my old PC. Sometimes some files on the disk (if you are using a disk) can be corrupt. If you are pirating it, I highly advise you to go and buy a legit copy. Also if you are using a disk then like I said above go buy another copy and re-install it using that. |

why you uninstall halo make sure ALL the files are gone. Do a full uninstall like halo was never on your computer, then check the file location and make sure no files were left behind. And as ezrab said are u using a disk or pirated version of halo? Have you used hmt or any other halo modding tool on halo before?

Yep, I agree with Master A's part. Uninstalling it fully, then deleting Halo off from everything like Program Files, ProgramData, or any other folders saved in C:\ drive including the ones from My Games folder in Documents, and then fresh install Halo again.

Yea and when you go to uninstall, make sure to tick "remove saved games and data for all users". |

I think buying an actual Halo installation disk cleans up a lot of problems. Playing on a pirated version makes me feel dirty. I don't want to take from this outstanding series.

I do not have a pirated version, i bought a legit copy of halo. I can take a pic of the disk and box and stuff for approval if applicable. I did a clean re-install of my halo and actually deleted everything from saved games to little mods like Halo Chat V2 and made sure no sign of halo was on my pc, i then instaled it again, no sign of luck.
I personally think its my new internet provider, cause since i got my new internet provider, that split second my halo chat never worked. So i think the halo ports have been blocked through some kind of firewall.
