i know i haven't got on in awhile. i couldn't switch halo over to my new com and the last 2 copy's i bought ~ebay~ wer to scratched to read. I will stay veteran when i get a working copy unless you all insist on me comming back. lol ty for having me it was fun and i hope to continue soon.

You don't need a disc to play Halo. All you have to do is get to v1.09 and it'll work without a disc, which is how I play the game (My disc is at my father's house)

I'd like to download a fresh copy of Halo. Mine has a recording of Spanish talking in the background. Seriously, there is someone speaking Spanish on Gephy and Blood Gulch.

It's technically illegal to download Halo(Dennis on Halomaps has lawyers.(He runs UX They looked into it).
But as long as nobody tells Microsoft, it should be fine I guess. 
Welcome back. 
Although have you tried copying the files from the disc to your harddrive, then installing from your harddrive? I've had a few scratched discs not load the installer but I managed to copy the files over anyway. |

my new com has file share..thingy. i can open and copy files from other computers in my house of i need to know passwords to access files. it picks up the laptop and other com but not my old com... tho that one uses a different wireless device that might be the problem. when i was in oklahoma i gave my copy of halo to a kid along with the cd key told him to download patch when he could so i could get it back. i'll find a copy sooner or later... oh god i might be an idiot. i wonder if ican buy a copy form microsoft?

Pretty sure you can get Halo off the Games For Windows Live store. You can decide whether or not to interpret the idea of buying Halo off GFWL as trolling though. |
