I can't vote cause I'm torn. Bill is a comedian, people shouldn't take what comedians say seriously. People are allowed to talk shit about other people. But also, I don't approve of bullying or making fun of people who don't like it. On the other hand, I don't think you should become a celebrity and go on TV all the time if you don't want people to talk about you. I'm kinda stuck in the middle.
Making money (since being a comedian is a profession) by insulting or degrading others can't be right. I don't even find what he said funny. He might dislike Mr Trump for what ever reason, but promoting his rude opinion as entertainment is unnecessary and doesn't reflect well on him. I doubt Mr Maher would appreciate being the subject of his 'joke'.
However, I get the impression that Mr Trump is rather preoccupied by money. Most of what he says is about 'the bet' and 'sue'ing for compensation. Okay, he mentions respect, but surely that's what it's all about? Great that he wants to use this supposed money to help charities, but I hear he's not too poor, so that could surely come out of his own fortune?
LMAO, yes, money may seem greedy, but its teaching marr a leason, dont make a bet, you arnt willing to pay if you lose
