Hello /ZÅ/ (4chan reference) today I have come to ask some help on getting a new pair of headphones/earphones. I'm going to ask for some for my Birthday so I need help with that. I'm looking for some around less than $150, I would prefer in ear type -- even though I use them mostly at my house -- because they would look awfully big on my head outside and people would think I look weird. If coke is around I'm sure you can help me you bicho. So any recommendations, even if you've used them before or know someone who has, it would be great if you told me.

I'll sell you my current one for $200 with sound modz built into it to hear super powerful soundz in Halo with footsteps, gun fires, melee hits, and so on. Then buy myself a new one for $150. ^_^

They're on-ear, but quite discrete. The sounds quality is good, at least for what I listen to, they're pretty portable and comfortable. They also block out background noise better than in-ear, I find.

My opinion will probably be disregarded but I've had these earphones for the last year. They're £2.52 on Amazon (almost £15 cheaper than what it's supposed to be) and they're good quality. They've lasted a long while and have got good sound, good bass and stuff.
Get an expensive pair if you want but if you're gonna get a $150 pair, is it really forty times better than this $4 pair?

I got some SkullCandy ones for my iPod which I started to use on my PC and I find them really good. They're not in ear though. There is also a lot of different types of SkullCandy headfones so there's pritty much one for everyone... |

I agree with Hat. I highly doubt expensive headphones are any better than $4 headphones.
Headphones can't be amazing quality anyway being small and portable. If you want good sound quality, get speakers. Amazing sound quality doesn't exist in the land of headphones.
Either that or get expensive goggles/glasses/blindfold with speakers built-in. Now that would be good sound quality AND awesome virtual reality. |

have a look at beats headphones they are amazing.
and actually if you have used quite a few pairs if headphones you will realise there is a massive differnce in sound quality.id say its worth the extra for quality but i pay that bit extra for everything id rather have sonething top notch and really enjoy it than something kinda in the middle and regreting not getting the thing i really wanted. |

Oh dear. Firstly, if you don't know what you're talking about, don't talk at all, it makes a much better impression.
Ronald, if you care about your music, your ears, and your wallet, do not get Beats headphones. Listen to Code-MM- and buy some Sennheisers or another brand trusted for value and audio quality.

Yea I'm asking for some advice but that doesn't mean I don't know what I'm working with. Beats suck terribly. And the best audio quality comes in Headphones too.
I'm pretty sure I've found what I'm looking for, at first I was looking through Sennheisers or Audio Technica. But I'm now going for some V-MODA Crossfade M-100.
Kind of expensive, although others are way more expensive too, but they are so much worth it. $310

I have Plantronics Gamecon 780's with 7.1 surround sound. I like them a lot and they are the highest rated headset on Amazon. I got them for like 60 dollars on eBay. I really like the onboard controls.
