I've started a new Halo clan for noob to mid level Haloholics.
I was inspired to do this after a suicide mission against a ZA away team. We need to play against gamers who can't off opponents with a sniper rifle while running backwards.
What Halo directory do you recommend I use to promote my clan?

Why are you asking others to join your clan in Alliance section of the forums? Isn't this supposed to be used for allying with ZA? I think it's against the rules here too for advertising others to join your clan.

Please don't advertise for your clan on our site. I have edited your post accordingly.

Welcome to the clanning world. Rule #1 - don't advertise without permission, LOL! Same goes for servers. I would recommend you talking to people not affiliated with any clans yet, specially if you're looking for noobs. Mid-level to pro-level halo players will already be in clans. Your best bet is to visit pubs (public servers not clan affiliated).

First of all, use xfire.
And second of all, if you need members, you'll have to make your own server and advertise on it with server messages. That's pretty much the only viable method of advertising to... active Halo players. (You could just invite like crazy on xfire but I doubt even half of those who accept will be active)
(Or you could alternatively wear fancy tags to silently advertise everywhere and then just give hints to anyone who asks)
And finally, if you ever do get a decent amount of active members, feel free to join CLS(Clan Leaders' Society).
CLS is basically a group that lets clan leaders communicate and help each other out.
(Reminded me that I need to find out whether ZA's joining CLS or not too xD)
P.S. Don't advertise your clan on another clan's website. Most clans don't allow it.

Servers always the way to go...It was just me and a friend when i restarted VG and now ....due to the server we are gradually growing....its common sense dude...Also the fudge are you doing advertising to another clan?! have some respect....thats like using a server some1 else pays for to recruit o.0 you just dont do it.
People think my name is short for North...this is untrue...the "Norts" were a ficitional character in a comic book i used to read called Rogue Trooper...i put this so people will stop asking :L
