POssibility of a new Paid Server

Hey guys, given how popular the Alpha Server has become, im considering expanding our paid server lineup from 1 - 2.
if it does happen i would like to know a few things:
a. what do you want as the setup(alpha infection, sdtm, etc..)
b. will any give a small donation? |

Well, I would think probably alpha infection. It is always full. Every body loves it.
b. will any give a small donation?
I dont have a job or any income at all so I wont be able to. |

a. a non modded passwordeed server just like the old days  (i will never give up hope that we might start that again)
b. im poor, and all of my money is going towards end of year feild trips

on the topic of servers, you knonw your server is popular when someone makes a fake version. an undedi server called "ZA MODED SERVER 2" or something like that popped up one day. the creater asnt that, well, bright, and it nearly drove shotgun insane ^.^

well, how about we make a compramise.
Smiley, after the closing of ZwG, has asked to become a member. of course we are accepting, but also, he brings his own server into the mix. So him & i talked about a total of 3 paid servers:
alpha infection (current)
Panic(2nd paid by me)
Mixed Gametypes (smiley's)

I'd say that we could do panic, but we might have to pull that out and switch it out for regs if there aren't enough people. And the mixed is a good one too. Whatever works basically.

I'll definitely have regs on my server. However, I'm still deciding on what else to include. I'm not sure if I want to keep panic because the current method I use has some unfortunate side effects.
One in the Chamber is definitely staying since it is pretty popular. As it has always been, my server won't be a strictly infection/zombies one. There will be a variety of other gametypes inspired from games like Black Ops and Halo Reach/Halo 3.
I'll add and remove gametypes as I see fit and according to the feedback of the players. When I was with ZwG I got little to no feedback. Hopefully you guys will be more responsive so that I can change the server to better suit the wants of the community. After all, the point of my server is to provide players with a fun time and I hope that's what you get from it. |
