 youtube is a great resource for video tutorials on how to upgrade parts. I've ungraded this computer twice now. its definitely cheaper than buying a new one. I think this is about the max I can upgrade my current computer though so my next one will have to be a new one or a custom build.

 Most components follow an ATX-size standard. Check the specifications and the size is usually shown either in an ATX format or a mm format.

If the size is shown in mm, then you'll have to compare the size of a component and a case. Not too difficult for anyone with a brain. :/

You should also make sure all of your components are compatible. Most graphic cards and motherboards are PCI-Express. But you should check your processor's port.
For AMD processors, you need to make sure your motherboard supports it's port. Anything below Phenom(Athlon is the only common series before Phenom) is AM2. But Phenom or above, you need an AM3(Or AM3+) compatible motherboard.

I'm not familiar with Intel ports(Because Intel sucks!), but basically match the port types up. :/

 lol no. there is standard size. found out what the size of your is. this can be done by:

Checking computer physically. or type computer info of what you have on internet.


When i got my new Power supply unit...turned out it was little too big... So using some very secretive mcgyver techniques...i was able to get it to fit lol. same thing with graphic card. deff make sure you check PHYSICALLY by removing cover or door on your computer to see yourself of the space available.

make sure whne you put new graphic card or power supply unit, in that it wont hit anything..................important
