“Hello there blue base.” “Oh hey code. How’s managing the vehicle bay these days?” “Awful because you got in trouble we can’t finish are prototype pelican, you have all the specs!” said code. “Ahh yea sorry about that. But I spoke my mind and I don’t regret it.” Said Slowking. “But at his goodbye party? Anyways the real reason I called you guys out here is there’s a weird signal near where you are.” “Do you have any more specifics then ‘near?’” “Yea under the flag.” Slowking looked out at the little box that held their flag. “You sure?” asked Slowking. “Unless I don’t know how to read a monitor then ya that’s where it is.” Said Code. “All right we’ll get right to it, blue base out.” “Freeze, Voodoo, Night get over here!” The 3 Spartans lined up in front of the captain. “Command wants us to investigate a weird signal coming from under the flag.” “Under the flag?” asked Night? “Correct. Suit up Freeze get in a machine gun hog and bring her around, Voodoo take the gun, Night met us there on foot. MOVE OUT!”
10 minutes later….the 4 Spartans were at the entrance of the box. “You guys stay out here. If I need help I’ll get you over the intercom.” And with that the captain went inside. “How am I supposed to find a ‘weird signal’ here?” At the back of the box Slowking looked around and saw a twist like crank. “What the?” When Slowking saw this he turned the crank and a door opened in front of him. “Whoa that’s pretty cool.” The door opened to a long hallway and at the end an eerie green light casted. Slowking walked down the hall and saw papers, notebook, and binders full of notes. But what worried him out the most were canisters holding human brains and their spinal cord coming out as well. These canisters went for about 5 feet then stopped. At the end of the hallway the path went right and Slowking saw a door with the name of surgery on it.
The captain slowly went pushed the door open to a small room with even more notes and some were even drawn on the walls. In the center of the room lied a surgery table with a single Spartan lying on top off it. Next to the Spartan was every surgery tool you could think of. When Slowking got closer to the Spartan he saw that the Spartan’s tags wrote: [ZÅ] WindyRaz. “What the-“ the captain was cut off by the noise of a couple footsteps coming to the room. Slowking switched on his camouflage and hid in a corner were the light didn’t shine. As he got into his hiding place two Spartans appeared into the room and went to the operating table. “How’s the test subject doing?” “Good. He seems to be melding with the flood host very well for the fight he put up.” “With this we can begin phase 2. Bagels go and contact Slim Jim. Tell him we’re ready to begin.” “Yes Marmite” said Bagels faithfully.
“Oh and Marmite how long are we going to let that cameo Spartan stay in the corner over their? Asked Bagels? With the sudden realization he had been found Slowking ran out the door and down the hallway. ”Send the horde.” Said Marmite. “GUYS WE GOTTA GO GO GO! Shouted Slowking. “Back to base?” asked Freeze? “NO DRIVE THE HOG TO THE MIDDLE OF THE CANYON I’LL CALL FOR A JUMP GATE, NIGHT GET IN WITH ME NOW!” “Why what’s happening captain?” questioned Night. “DON’T ASK JUST MOVE!” Slowking and Night piled into the same seat and at the same time a huge rumble started. “HIT IT!” commanded Slowking. With that Freeze made the warthog do 0-60 in 5 seconds flat. As they left a huge wave of flood came out after them looking so very hungry.
“WHAT THE FUCK?!” said Voodoo as he poured rounds into the tidal wave of the undead. “CODE COME IN DO YOU READ ME?!” “Yea loud and clear what’s the problem?” “OPEN A JUMP GET NOW!” “But I can’t do that it’s against….” “I DON’T CARE OPEN IT NOW!” “Ok ok just chill one warp gate coming up.” Just then a swirling blue vortex appeared in front of the vehicle transporting them to base, closing just before any of the horde could follow. Then another warp gate opened leading them into ZA headquarters vehicle bay. “What the hell was that Slow?!” demanded Code. “No time for that I’m going to the see the leaders now.” “What?! Are you crazy? There still pissed at what you did at the good bye party! Besides the lieutenant’s will never let you through.” Said Code.
“They will when I show em what footage I got for em on my helmet’s camera.” And with that Slowking rushed to the top of headquarters to where the leaders were having their meeting. Slowking showed the lieutenant’s what was on his helmet cam and they let him through. Bursting through the doors Slowking slammed his helmet on the table.
“What do you think you’re doing captain?” demanded Carnage. “And more importantly why are you not at infinity blue base outpost you were assigned to?” asked Buck. “I have something to show you something.” “Whatever it is it can wait we have more-“NO! YOU NEED TO SEE THIS NOW!” “At ease captain or you will be detained!” commanded Star. “You guys know of the weird signal that you sent me and my team to investigate? Well I investigated it and guess what? I found Raz.” “Impossible. Raz went M.I.A a few months ago.” Told Carnage.
“Well I found him and guess what? HE WAS BEING DISECTED ON LIKE A GUINEA PIG. OUR FRIEND, OUR BROTHER, OUR COMRADE. BEING TESTED ON BY YOUR FC’S!” yelled and pointed Slowking at Slim Jim. “I do not speak for those FC’s. The only FC’s I accommodate for are HotCoCo, Coyote, Cookie, Jelly, and me.” “Well they were still FC’s! It was Marmite and Bagels!” “Impossible. Marmite and Bagels died on the field of battle a long time ago.” persisted Slim Jim. “Oh yea? Well watch this then.” Slowking showed the leaders and co-leaders the footage his helmet cam had recorded. “What the……” said Adder speechless. “With this evidence we will further investigate into this. Thank you Slowking at least now we know what happened to Raz.” said Buck sadly. “Oh and by the way if we further investigate this be careful, they had enough flood for a horde, who knows what they have now.” cautioned Slowking. “We will thank you.” Said Adder. With that Slowking left to his bunk.
“Slim Jim do you have any idea what this is?” asked Adder. “I always thought you naive fools would find out but I didn’t think it be this fast, oh well we will just have to rush phase 2.” Said Slim Jim confidently. “What are you talking about?!” said Star shocked. “OVERKILL.” Said Slim Jim. As if on tune all the leaders and co-leaders entered a hypnotic trance. “We live to obey.” They all said at once. “Yes, yes I know you do.” Smiled Slim Jim.
