Bring back Infinity Discussion

Super Admin Posts: 2582 Joined: 21.07.11	We kinda started this in a random thread but i'm moving it here so that we can hear everyones opinion. I think that bringing back Infinity could be possible with the stats server. Lets all discuss how this would work out. With these changes i believe it could work: Mod out the tops above the bridge so that no one can get on the ladders Mod out the that top area beside the pipes Mod out the top of the bases where the sniper spawn, or make a tele to the top of the bases from where the turret usually sits If all of this is done I believe we could actually bring back infinity. With the random spawns the zombies wouldn't have to run from blue base over and over again they would actually be spawning closer to the humans. Also everyone would get running creds, zombies included, so all the running around wouldn't be pointless. The new map would bring even more popularity to the server. I think it should at least be tested. Huggy said he could mod out those parts too i believe. If need be after testing we could give zombies exra speed or something like that. Ofc this whole thing might be a faliure waiting to happen Your thoughts?

Because when we do panics on infinity in classic and the reds are in the top of a base it is next to impossible for them to be killed and in fact last time i played Buck was giving people speed just so theyd have a chance at reaching the humans. Even with the random spawns the bases are so fortified that basically 2 people can hold it until the end of the map so with 8 people camping the top of a base it would be terrible and zombies would be rqing left and right outta sheer desperation. Admin Posts: 6130 Joined: 20.11.10	I deff vote no. There are just too many camping spots, the map is too big, and I don't think the game would finish before time ran out, not even close. With players like champion, hardy (comrade), + (wu), A, and EZ online as often as they are - that map would be torture for zombies. I wouldn't even have the heart to punish RQs on infin.
