 Do you mean ingame xfire? or ingame "press T to talk"?

Cuzzz I have Vista, and I can press T to talk perfectly fine?

 He can push T and type something and push enter, but nothing happens. He also cannot even see the chat, like if someone kills someone it doesn't show up or even when other people are talking, nothing shows up.

I cant get the text to turn off.

 I think some of his halo files may be corrupt or something... He always tells me that the chat just doesn't install...

 He should really completely uninstall and reinstall halo and see if it fixes the issue, have u always had no chat or did it just happen one day?

 He tells me that he has completely uninstalled and re-installed many times and nothing changes. Also it apparently has always been like that.

 he shouldn't need to completely reinstall it just put the disk in and click the repair option and it should fix any corrupted files.

 Thank you all for helping i did all the above but nothing works XD I've been trying since i got full version, forward my ports,uninstaled firewall, reinstalled halo prob. 50 times, bought a new halo Combat evolved $26, contacted microsoft and bungie and they can't fix it XD, reinstalled chat repaired it too but NOTHING WORKS XD. Although my IDIOT cousin tried to hack my halo but FAILED so i think thats the problem imgoingmad
