you have to run xfire as administrator too if u run halo as administrator. Just right click xfire and find the run as administrator link. I would suggest though that you uninstall and reinstall your halo.

where you type -console also type -novideo, and you might want to try using ff which downs the graphics but gives quite alot of performance and will nearly double your FPS.
So it will be -console -novideo -useff
Good Luck,

if your computer is relatively new i advise not using -useff, it is only for older computers and can actually malfunction on a newer unit.

only us ff if you have windows xp. if you try it with vista or win 7 it will just make your halo look psychedelic and you will trip out. I have xp on my laptop and use ff and it seems to make quite a bit of difference.

no you put it in the command line in the same place you did to activate your console.

Havok said -use00 and MasterA said to -use11 I'm going to try both of these and get back to yall
Edit: I did here's my take.
If your running Windows Vista or Windows 7:
admin: -console -novideo -use11
member: -novideo -use11
If your running Windows XP or 98:
admin: -console -novideo -useff
member: -no video -useff
All of these should be put at the end of your target line in your halo properties.
Step 1: Right Click Halo Icon
Step 2: Click Properties
Step 3: at the end of the line that says "C://Program Files/Microsoft Games/Halo" add the commands
Double Edit: MasterA's works great with Integrated (Crappy) Graphics Cards on Laptops too!

-Console = Gives you the debugging console where rcon can admin our servers.
-no video = it cancels out the videos shown while starting halo. It loads liek 3 times faster so you dont have to spam esc.

I use this, it works - 'tis good.
I might try out 11 if that's recommended by A. Will it be suitable for XP on a crappy computer?
