5 scientific reasons

how to fight back
.You can’round up fellow survivors to kick some zombie butt
.Much of zombie fiction knocks out zombies through shots to the head.
.or stick with stuntman to find a better hiding place

I love to poke holes into people's arguments.
-Brain parasites: Yes, there are incidents with scientific research with such organisms entering the brain from cat litter and such (which is why pregnant women are warned to keep away from the litter box). But: One cannot go "batshit crazy". The personality change that the article oh-so-neglects to mention is actually a change in social life; in other words, the subject is more amiable to others, and may be more prone to more risky behaviors. Of course, this is much more observable in mice, who become "insane", and start hanging around areas with the smell of cat urine, and begin to become sluggish in their movements (so that the cats may ingest them).
However, these "parasites" are very real and present in the Insecta group, as there are instances of ants being taken over by various organisms to serve their own purpose (for instance, to take the organism back to the nest, or for sheep to ingest the blade of grass that the ant sits on).
-Neurotoxins: Any competant doctor will be able to realize that you're alive, with all the technology that hospitals hold.
-"Virus": First of all, Mad Cow disease isn't even a virus. It's caused by a group of defective proteins called prions, which are able to convert similar proteins to its own structure, inhibiting certain bodily functions. Yes, people can get Creutzfeldt-Jakob, or Kuru (which, incidentally, is only observed in cannibalistic cultures); however, kuru nor Crueutzfeldt-Jakob create aggression. (It is interesting to note that however [to me, anyways], kuru has been referenced in the Fallout games with its symptoms, and Dead Island uses a Kuru-like vector to create the zombies).
Neurogenesis- Incidentally, even if someone manages to do that, there is no base primal instinct in the human psyche to attack other humans. Even if someone managed to train them to attack humans, the brethren of the "zombie" will have the characteristics of an alive human... and Friendly Fire Will Not Be Tolerated!
Nanobots- The "doomsday" paranoia about nanobots is not of a zombie apocalypse (which, the nanobots can't think for themselves yet; it still requires a higher order), but of the act of self-replication of using every bit of matter. Incidentally, the zombification of a virus is impossible, since a virus simply cannot die (it has been agreed that a virus cannot live, as it cannot reproduce by itself).

Just gonna point out this one thing.
There is a reason that nature doesn't have it to where an animals number one predator is also it's number one food source and it's number one source of reproduction
It doesn't work that way

The parasite makes you insane/loose your mind, but where is the aggresion or the hunger for human flesh?Sure, there are things that cause one at the most, but all? It's not discovered yet.You all feel certain you'll survive, there is no such weapon that can protect your ass from hundreds of zombies without hurting yourself.Even a grenade or a RPG,those kill just a slight number out of the hundreds, and even so,if in close range, you could die.A gun such as a shotgun, whatever is in the zombie server we play on isn't real life.I can take 15 zombies on constantly over and over until i get distracted but thats just the scripts we have added that buff up our weapons. But in a zombie apocalypse,99% of the worlds population will die, either into this virus/parasite/religious crap(whatever the cause).Nothing will protect you,no matter how many humans/weapons/supplies,everything will run out,or everything will run out ON YOU(zombie wave). The biggest most fortified place, you'll worry about famine, disease, and other things, and who knows?you might loose your sanity and turn insane,no one knows the outcome.Just be ready to fall hard if it ever does happen, unless your some nerd scientist that caused all this crap and have the anti-whatever,expect everyone to be on your ass.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.

@shadow: lol, I'm not supporting any side of whether zombies exist, but I'm merely bashing on the supposed causes. But thanks
@stuntman's picture: I WANT A SCRIPT NAO. AND A PROFESSIONAL TEACHER TO TEACH ME.
@1 shawn, 2 shawn, red shawn, blue shawn: Incidentally, a group of smart and practical people can hole up anywhere, provided that they have enough entertainment >__>. It's more about the environment than anything (and circumstances, per say. Applies to any kind of natural disaster).
@tulip: Well put. Obviously why you bring a nice game of Monopoly with you.
@Wings: DUN DUN DUN.
@Hat: Thank you so much for voting on me everyone! Now, I want to thank my parents, my dog, my cat, my lawn, my 5 pencils that I lost in the last 3 months for inspiration, the janitor in my high school... they've been SUCH a big help in the production of this work! Thank you to all who've helped! *teary-eyed*
