After organizing our belongings, we, that is i and a few of my colleagues, set out to study the local IS'lanwana tribe. The locals werent too chirpy about us being here. However, after some time, the natives have gotten used to our presence, and have continued with daily life. I had decided to sneak a little.... contraband (as my overseer forbids alcohol... even a little wine.... ) The mosquitos in this place are horrible. Why i must've been bitten up dozens of times. I shall expect to come down with a case of malaria within a week!

The natives are learning our lanquage, english. Thats good. I learned some of their lanquage as well. Something like "Coitago lolicquanino chewchew kamowi grues." something about extracting something from a "plant or creature?" called a grue,,, whatever that is

A young villager came into the village late at night, probally had a nightmare or something "scratched out" Hmm the village elder or shaman is talking to the young man. Said something along the lines of "to be cut? to be bitten? or something like that" Probally the villager's intended mid night meal had kissed him goodbye hahahaha.... Wait... Oh My God! The shaman just shoved his spear into the man's head! Jesus christ! There really isnt civilized folk out here!

Its been awhile since i've made an entry. That is because we have been introduced to a thing (its not a plant and its not a creature... well one i havent seen). The natives tell me that the thing is cursed. That those who are cut by it are doomed to feed forever? hmm i could use some food now hahaha. So our guide asked why bother with it? Well apparently cutting part of the leaves gives a certain power to those of great willpower"I could not figure out exactly what this thing, he described was. The diary entry was ruined due to the fact it was smeared with a mix of blood and mud.

I overheard my boss talking to on of the men from one of the major controlling factions or clans in the world. Apparently they believe that this plant thing or whatever has an untapped power. So they're sending a team in to collect samples. Whatever i say, just whatever gets me out sooner.

I heard there was an accident over the collection of samples. Apparently, someone collecting said sample was cut by the sharp ends. The man was given some anti-biotics and a bandage as well as being told to suck it up. hahahah i lolled so hard i nearly threw up.

I have been sloshing through this swamp water all day. I try to make it on dry land, but theese damn mosquitos and driving me crazy! I think i saw a crocodile stare at me. It looked off like it was alive but had rotted in bits and parts of its body
