well the things is in my school I'm currently taking advanced graphics which involves designing and making a magazine!!! and i have it on my USB stick, but now it wont open, and it was just about finished. i badly need this as i still have to wright a report on how i made it etc......
its a serif x5 page and it just keeps saying serif has stopped working when i try to open it.
so if attach the file with all the stuff on it i would MASSIVELY appreciate it someone could somehow extract get it working or something, even if you can get it out and re-send me it as like a PDF, or an explanation on how to make it work.
ok well it wouldnt attach but i should be on xfire working all night now..........

Ask your teacher or one of your smart friends  .Try opening it different ways or google your problem and a program might pop up that opens those types of files and such.

nothing to do with admin properties. i've tried it on like 3 different computers. think the file is somehow corrupt, was hoping someone would be able to somehow extract the stuff from it. u can open in on word but its just a whole buch of code that comes up. so nothing useful to me.

is it just a cover or multiple pages? cause I have a program (VLC Media Player...computer suggested trying it..) that opens it for a split second and then it goes away and I see a cover about lance armstrong and cycling or something...

If you can't get it working, go to your teacher ASAP, show him/her your problem and get an extension. Always make MANY back ups! Good luck man.

That's the front page, using the program that Carnage used. I'll see if it will get the other pages, but probably not.
Phoenix's suggestion is a good one.
E: The reason that page is visible is because it's saved as a preview for the whole file - hence why you could see it as a thumbnail. As far as I can see, the actual code file is corrupt, so you'd be best off asking for an extension! Sorry.

thanxs so much guys, atleast i can re-create the front cover now. that was the most important page. and yeh there was 8 pages in there, but the most work had gone into the cover. |
