zombie battle story

Wanker Posts: 908 Joined: 11.05.11	as we walked through the broken down wall in the military instillation, we realized that this hellish battle was almost over. The horde had been stopped, most of them (the zombies) were dead, those that weren't, waited for us, the squad, up ahead. While i leaned against a stone wall in a dimly lit room, we looked over and saw the bodies pf our fellow marines and Spartans scattered and lying dead in front of us. A futile last stand.. that wasn't enough to ward off the zombie attack. Shotgun shells and ammo casings were strewn across the floor, on top of the bodies of the fallen. we crouched behind our fallen comrades, to claim their dog tags, to make sure they would not be forgotten, but there was nothing we could do about their bodies, and we prepared for a final battle. As we marched on, we came across a hellish sight. Bodies of our former compatriots were strewn across the floor. The platoon had apparently tried to barricade themselves in, but the zombies had managed to break through, and with the blitzkrieg of zombies upon zombies. Arms and legs were tossed around, as if a blender had been turned on without the cover. Some were apparently eaten. The zombies had heard us. As we turned around for a final stand, i turned to meet the enemy. I pointed my gun and... it had clicked empty.
