 I am cooking today and tomorrow to make yummy turkey day foods and was curious to see what other peoples favorite Thanksgiving day foods are. If you can, please share the recipe with us too cause its fun to make new foods (at least for me it is...). My favorite thanksgiving food is....

Classic Pecan Pie.
1 cup dark Karo syrup
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
1½ cups Pecans
9" deep dish pie crust unbaked (if using frozen don't thaw it)
Mix first 5 ingredients. Stir in Pecans. Place mixture into pie crust. Bake 60-70 mins at 350°F. Pie is done when the center springs back from touch.
Tip: use a cookie sheet to prevent spilling and place the cookie sheet in the oven when preheating. Then place the pie on the cookie sheet.

This is super yummy, and a Southern favorite! Please post all your yummy recipes!!!

 The Best Green Beans in the World (bacon wrapped green beans):

1 lb fresh snap green beans
1 cup brown sugar
1 pack center cut bacon strips
1 cup butter
Several plain wooden toothpicks

Wash green beans, trim off tips of both ends.

Bundle 5 green beans and wrap with bacon strip, using toothpick to hold bundle together.

Line up bundles in 1 to 1 1/2 inch deep cookie pan.

Melt butter and brown sugar in microwave.

Poor butter and brown sugar over the green bean bundles.

Bake on 350 for 40 minutes.
