Have you let Xfire scan for games before you log on lol

open your xfire.
tools>options>games>halo.
look for the box that says either "Automatically detect" or "manually detect"
if it says automatic look at the box below it that says "Game path"
the game path should look like this "c:program filesmicrosoft gamesHalohalo.exe"
if not, change the box to "manually detect" and change the game path to
c:program filesmicrosoft gamesHalohalo.exe
if this isn't the exact spot your halo is saved to then do this
1:right click halo
2:select properties
3:go to shortcut tab (if not there already)
4:look at the box labeled "target"
5:copy everything in the parentheses
6: paste in the xfire>tools>options>games>game path box
7: hit apply
8: reset computer (probably not necessary but i would do it anyways)
Once you reset your computer your xfire ingame should work with halo.
Edit: disabled smilies.
