now i may sound like an ol' timer to you youngins (you will never know the nostalgic feeling of putting a vhs into a vcr), but i know the good ol days.... of the 1990s sony walkmans.... getting scared with a buddy playing his new game (silent hill) now though i was born in 86, my days of youth were truly the 90s
our video games were much better:
video games: doom, wolveinstein 3d, doom 2, quake, quake 2, resident evils (1-3), silent hill, super mario 64, legend of zelda ocarina of time and majora's mask, and duke nukem
these were built to last, not these pieces of crap (360s) that break on the 1st day
consoles: playstation (ah my ears to the sweet sound of ps1 start up...), super nintendo (xband, the first xbox live, damn dial-up) and nintendo 64
our tv shows were better too:
goosebumps, pokemon (where the hell is misty?!), digimon, hey arnold, ahh real monsters, rugrats, the simpsons (its not even funny now),(keenan and kel, doug, beavis and butthead and thats it basically, (what the hell is wrong with disney? where did hannah mon- whatever come from? back in my day we had disney making movies like the lion king)
our wars were better too: kosovo, somalia.... damn i think of anymore.... ah bill clinton defined the presidency of the era...
now you yougins will NEVER know these nostalgia moments ever.... do not waste your generation, for in a decade, everything do now is considered out-of DATE!!! |

erm...Misty was drawn, for all intents, to look slutty. I didn't make this up. Subliminal messages...sighs...
And Obama really could use some help from Clinton, especially in the economy sector...

I remember barely getting to watch the classic shows as a kid, ( thank god, all the cartoons suck ass now) , like Hey Arnold, Spongebob, CowChicken, Fairly Odd Parent, Tom and Jerry, Johnny Bravo, Dextors Labatory, Ed Edd n Eddy, and espically my favorite show of all time, Courage the Cowardly Dog lolol. God, even tho Im older now, I would still waste 3 hours of my day watching every episode. 2 bad they dont show them anymore . Other than that, the only good show, that I see on CN is Regular Show, which is pretty kind of fucked up which is why it's unique.
- Music, I loved all the music back then, I loved flipping to MTV ( WHEN THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED MUSIC VIDEOS) and just blazing up the volume when my parents werent home. I remember when people used to play a certain song , over and over again, and not listen to every other good song they here in the radio like now adays. I remember blazing to blink 182, and deff lepard, 2pac, biggie, juvinile, cypress hill, nwa, run dmx, wu tang, gangstarr, nirvana , beastie boys, u2, green day, shit the list can go on. Now every time I turn on the radio I here the same repititive beats and punch of pointless pop songs . And it's sad when I here this generation call them '' hip- hop''. God I wish I can go back in time.
PS. Halo PC was also beast back in the early years 2004=2006, just wanted to point that out. All the servers from list 1, and 2, were full when you entered the lobby lol. Every map had 16/16. There was a place to play oddball, king , ctf, slayer , etc. God i hope they make a halo pc 2. |

I was raised on Doom, Quake, all the Mario games, duck hunt, and many many more. I loved playing Duke Nukem and Tekken Final fantasy 7,8,9 all on the PS1. And btw they did make a Halo 2 for PC a while ago. But it was a complete fail becaulse they made it so to play it online you were forced to install it with Vista and if you had XP you needed a crack for it. and with that crack you still cant join online. I have it but i have to install it on my main computer still.

of course trying to play doom wasnt easy thanks to my paranoid as hell mother and this asshole named jack thompson: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Thompson_(activist)
luckily after she threw my copies of doom, doom 2, and quake out, my uncle (on my dad's side an avid gamer) went out of his way to get me new copies that christmas he raped me on death match :'( i still have emotional trauma from being killed so many times (got chainsawed alot even though i shot him a shit ton of times with a chain gun |

God i hope they make a halo pc 2.
They did in 2006 but it isn't very good imo and id rather play halo 1.
I remember the nineties as I was born in the late 80's and they were fun times. I remember when I was little I watched dragonball z and would jump off the furniture in our basement imitating the cool ninjas on tv. I nearly broke my arms and legs several times doin that lol |

I had VHS until about three years ago.
Does it worry anyone that I am younger than the PlayStation, yet can legally drink alcohol or drive a car in less than two years? o_O
