sorry to bring politics or whatever want to call this i just want to let you guys know
TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran raised the prospect on Tuesday of sending military ships close to the United States' Atlantic coast, in what would be a major escalation of tensions between the long-standing adversaries.
"Like the arrogant powers that are present near our marine borders, we will also have a powerful presence close to American marine borders," the head of the Navy, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said, according to the official IRNA news agency.
Speaking at a ceremony marking the 31st anniversary of the start of the 1980-1988 war with Iraq, Sayyari gave no details of when such a deployment could happen or the number or type of vessels to be used.
The declaration comes just weeks after Turkey said it would host a NATO early warning radar system which will help spot missile threats from outside Europe, including potentially from Iran. The decision has angered Tehran which had enjoyed close relations with Ankara.
And it comes a few months after Iran sent warships through the Suez canal, after the fall of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, the first time the Islamic Republic had deployed navy vessels in the Mediterranean.
The United States and Israel have not ruled out military action against Iran if diplomacy fails to stop it getting nuclear weapons. Tehran denies it is developing nuclear arms saying its atomic program is for purely peaceful purposes.
Iran has dismissed the threats, warning that it will respond by hitting U.S. interests in the Gulf and Israel if any such attack happened.
Analysts say Tehran could retaliate by launching hit-and-run strikes in the Gulf and by closing the Strait of Hormuz, the waterway where about 40 percent of all traded oil passes.
The Islamic state often launches military drills in the country to display its military capabilities amid persistent speculation about a possible U.S. or Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.

We could take out all of Iran in literally 10 minutes if we wanted to so I'm dismissing this because our government is to weak to actually do anything that could potentially save our country

no we couldn't do it in 10 minutes even if we sent all our troops over at the same time it would take day's to transport all of them or launch a warning nuke~hopeing that no other nations think it's aimed at them~ we the human race want to aim for peace but there are dicks every where that want to F up every thing. ~joker wants to watch the world burn~ america isn't weak. it's more like the tv version of the star football player in high school, beats up the nerds, moves from one girl to the next and fails at his classes. every one hates him.

I'm not saying that we should destroy everything America is like the unbelievably strong kid who is at the same time WAY TOO NICE we let everyone poke and prod and make fun of us until we get punched then we kick the shit out of them all I'm saying is we need to stop being such wimps about this kind of stuff, we are known as the worlds police we need to act like it if i walked up to a cop and said hey i know you don't want me to have these illegal drugs or to go into this military base, but i swear i won't do anything, they would not let me go they would arrest me and if i resisted they would kick the shit outta me if were going to take the role of the worlds cops we ACTUALLY HAVE TO ACT LIKE COPS AND ENFORCE sure some places will hate us a little, but even if you hate cops the facts are that you respect them this new stupid weak america we live in now is not respected It's laughed at btw this is a very touchy subject with me if you can't tell

there will be nothing left but star, your kid, you and food. first the clean water goes then the electricity then the food then you would probably sacrifice your self to feed star and your child. condemning them to live 2 or 3 weeks longer then they would starve to death. it would be very sad. not to mention how much ruble is on top of the hatch or if it is melted shut but not like there would clean water and food even if you could get out. very very sad. T.T

I dont know anything about politics. but i thought about something, US has religious rights n shit. they can recruit if they want as long as there ctitizens right? but i do not support them recruiting for going against the us. they are alodu to do this, Just sayin.

I find it interesting that people's first response is just to nuke everyone. As someone who is majoring in science I think I have a pretty good grasp of what happens to the body when a nuclear (not "newquelar" former president Bush!) explosion occurs and believe me its not pretty. I am under the somewhat less popular opinion of "leave them the hell alone" let them kill each other if they want to but keep our young men and money out of situations that aren't our business. Our country has over 14 TRILLION!!!! dollars in debt! This is staggeringly unbelievable!!!! I think the recent Libya incursion was a complete waste of time, manpower, and money. Which brings me to my next point....Israel. Ahhh, Israel why do we continue to give you money like a teenager with an allowance. That is a subject that stems from religious beliefs (another huge soapbox topic) and frankly it seems ludicrous to be sending other countries money when we have people in our own country that are starving in the streets and children that can barely read their own high school diploma. Okay I'm done. lol |
