(please note i'm trying to make this like an old war vet's story, it starts with za's humble beginnings into one of the most powerful empires on halo)
ah yes, i can remember the forgotten times. you see, you new guys to ZA wouldnt know this side, but there was a time long long ago, when za was still in its infancy. that my child, is the story i will share with you.
DOOM WARS (1993-2004)
now i dont know much about anyone else's side of the coin, but i know my side as sharp as rambo's knife. my story began at the true end of the doom wars (wiki doom). see, back then some of us older fps players remember the wars. oh how we fought them demons back to hell. my elder brother (currently an air force officer in afganistan in rl) was slain in the war. I was sent to his unit to replace him. along the way, i was the F.N.G (freaking noob guy). they'd (my team) try to frag me as often as possible. well to cut to the halo-zombie wars, i'll skip the doom wars (1993-2004), and just say we killed their leader and ended hell's invasion of earth
Zombie Invasion 2008 (i'm getting the full story)
see back then, there was no zombies. until, myself and some friends (bungie bless them), were out fighting noobs you see? when all of a sudden, they were turning blue! all players who were killed by blues, became blues! now i'm not a diplomatic man, but i assure you, i was able to convince everyone to help fight off these blues. however, these were not like the doom demons we fought all those years ago. however our expirience was enough to fight them off. just me, and my friends survived.
END OF DAYS 2009
my friends were killed in the battle, betrayed by noobs. i was able to escape and join a server called ZWD (zombies with dyn) yes, this is where the true story began
ZWD
in zwd, we'd fight to keep halo free of zombies. then bickerings between the higherups began to become all out conflict. a certain cnr, was banished, never to be on ZWd again. however, i do apoligize to say, i thought nothing of it. this cnr had managed to bring along like-minded followers along with him. this rag-tag group ( i use this term lightly) became the foundations for ZA.
1 HOUR War (late 2009ish?)
(obviously exagerrated for the purpose of grandeur) dyn you see, was furious. he could not allow such a group that could be trouble in his eyes to exsist. so after some time, dyn raised an army and attacked the early za group which was the infamous 1-hour war. the battle was bloody, za's had relied on speed and were able to outmanuver the larger tanks of dyn's forces. however, zombies attacked and a temporary truce was set in place. now i'm not a poltical man, but i assure you, things were tense like the cold war (wiki cold war). at any moment the fragile peace could shatter and war would break out again.
TERRORISM
sometime later, terrorizers had attacked the za's website (source unknown). the results were temporarily devistating to this ZA group. however, luckily the flames were put out, and a stronger more secure site was created.
THE UNDERGROUND WAR (fanfiction)
see, here's where i come in. you see, za and zwd/zwd/zwg never gave up on the war. there were still fights breaking out. until one day, we (my group of zwd commandos) were sent out by durran (you older guys know him) to attack an infamous hacker group, who were thought to poesess a weapon so powerful, it could shatter the balance of power once and for all. my group managed to locate this weapon (turns out it turns you into zombies). we thought we could finally rest... but Durran had other ideas. it was a betrayl i should've forseen. durran wanted to test this weapons power, and used it on my men, my friends, my brothers. however, za special forces had arrived to take the weapon to. my men and i were forced to fight both sides, and we escaped, however, durran still had the weapon. apparently, from an informant, i was able to know that durran planned a final attack on ZA with this new weapon. unfortunately, it turned out my informant had owed 1 trillion US dollars in gambling debts to some crime lord, and we were forced to fight our way out. to cut to the chase, durran was gone, his lieutenant (name with held) created zwg and planned the final attack. together with some za special forces we were able to destroy the weapon, and end the war.
