Awsome. Thanks Saitbad! I was gonna contact u but numpty beat me too it. I really didn't think it was a big deal since it was only gonna be za member playing it on za nights. sorry. Also definately we will not use it on a public server.
With the variant thing do you mean so its not exactly the same? if so we can use plasma pistols or take away the lives system or something else.

OH lol by variant i mean like the server has a message that comes up something similar to "paintball gametype created by Saint clan" or something simliar you can copy the gametype finish for finish if you want just as long as its not public.

Well smiley, being as the clan Saint created it, we do need to ask permission. I understand you were with grim b4 and took what u want no matter what, but if we didn't create it, we talk to who did and ask permission. If you don't like it, well too damn bad. |

But numpty, its not like we are trying to put it on our main server or advertise we made it or anything. Its just adding a new gametype for za nights. There is no possible harm from doing that.

IDC! We did not create it so we will not steal it. Simple as that. It doesn't matter whether we plan to use it for public or private use. The simple fact of the matter is they created it. Not us. Therefore, we ask permission. I don't even see why this was brought back up. he gave us permission. Smiley just wanted to post about something. Anything really. I bet he doesn't even care if he posts about something that is already settled, he just wants to post. We got permission to use paint ball on our pass worded server, for ZA NIGHT ONLY. That is what we wanted so stop complaining. |

J, we did not copy them. They accused us of copying them. The only thing similar was the pass word and that was because EVERY zombie server had the same pass. Dynasty only bitched at us about it because we were better than his server ever was. That is also the reason we will not even make it seem like we are copying any one. |

I'm willing to bet they did not create it. Imagine someone claiming they created zombies. And I'm not sure what you mean by "took what u want no matter what". |

I have no problem with you posting if it is relevant to something. The issue was closed and you go ahead and bring it back up. Some one did create the idea of zombies or we wouldn't be playing it, would we? They did create the paintball. Its just like infection. The only thing is that Saint doesn't want people to have it because then their popular server will be unpopular then. I just don't like you smiley. Idk why, but there is something about you that I don't like. I felt the same way about hobo, shawn, biggie, dudeman, yoyo, etc. I am lumping you with them. By you, I meant like ZwG in general. If you have any more questions, you can xfire me. Until then, this whole matter is done for. We got permission to use it. Some one lock this thread until slim comments on it saying whether we can use it or not. |

Not sure if the poll is locked or not but I will post anyway.
First of all, Hi I am §aint~Bad the founder of Saint Clan.
I have an immense amount of respect for your admins and your clan based on the fact that you guys were willing to get in contact with us before using paintball.
After much discussion with my clan we came to the conclusion that we would do not mind if you use it in your Night server(s).
With the understanding that they are password protected and mainly it will be ZA members.
My clan would also like a mention in the server something to the effect of paintball variant created by Saint clan... I will leave that up to you guys but we would appreciate it. We would not at this time like the paintball gametype available on another public server for fear it will drain our server which we really enjoy having full most of the time ^^.
Thanks again for your understanding on this. I hold ZA in high regard.

I personally cannot agree more that we would have a need to secure rights to a gametype that another developed. and while i cannot determine to what degree the truth is about paintball and the Saints mates. i can agree that if we do develop a paintball script for use in game, it would be limited to password-ed servers only. and i can also say this, given the concept of the game, i personally would love to have a clan match using Smiley's Dodgeball Script. |

thats awsome. and slim, I never wanted anything to be done except for the game type to be available during za nights in the passworded server... thats why I considered getting approval would not be a big deal since we are not public with it and it wont affect the saints at all...
