I think Zombie Stats is great name. And the no tags this is also a smart thing, too. Although, most people will still know who I am without tags lol

We would still wear tags, only the server wouldn't. This means it would not be listed with our other servers anymore.

I think it makes sense to have ZA in the name because it's a ZA server. I don't get why anyone would want it without ZA it the title? Like, what's the point of not having ZA in the title if it's a ZA server?

I don't support stat reset. We have had multiple reset and people have stopped playing because of that. If you worked hard to get your rank and stats and if it just goes away then it's not good. I am sure people in ZA wouldn't mind stat reset but some non-regular players would. If I was not in ZA and if my stats got reset over and over again I would find other servers to play, but if that's what clan votes for then it's worth trying. May be a fresh start would help.

I agree, and I can't speak on behalf of everyone but ever since Slim added a massive bonus of cR to players, it defeated the purpose of competing against one another because there was a big gap between top players cR and mid-tier to lower-tier in terms of cR. A reset of ranks and stats, as well as a new name will definitely help. I see more pros outweighing the cons.

I agree with Stunt but that's why we are getting a new name for the server preferably without ZA in it. This would help give us a new start to the stats server and hopefully bring back the old regulars who left after the countless resets and also bring in some new ones who are interested in zombies.

I'm not following your logic at all. If someone frequents the most popular ZA server, wouldn't they be more likely to join a server that says ZA in the title than a server that doesn't appear to be a ZA server? And what are you basing the "here to stay" on? If stats have been reset multiple times already, and they're being reset again now, that sets the precedent that they'll be reset sometime in the future again anyways.
And do people really care that much about the stats in Stats? I don't know about anyone else, but I've never given a damn what my stats were, or how many credits I have. Is anyone really not going to want to play in Stats just because the stats are reset? Are they that important that they'd create a deterrent for people who currently plays in Stats? For me, and I'm guessing for most people who frequent the ZA Stats server, whether they're in ZA or not, play for the zombies gameplay, and for the people that play there-- the Stats aren't what's important to most people, most people care about the familiar experience of playing on the ZA server. Sure the stats can be fun and all, but the zombies game is just as much fun without the stats. The stats are just there to add a little something extra, and in my opinion they have little to do with the appeal of the ZA Stats server.
It makes no sense not to have ZA in the title (as I've said: it's a ZA server, so it stands to reason you'd put ZA in the server's name), unless you have a really compelling reason to do so. And no offense, but I find the reason you've given for not wanting ZA in the title to be highly unsatisfactory.

The main reason Is simple: fresh clean slate. I think the main reasons as others pointed out before was: 1) Stats being reset 3 times which would showed volatility in our rank system and 2) The perception players had on some of us and our server. I think it's fair to say that some of us were branded as "admin-nazi" being that we go after the most insignificant reasons (so some players thought) and be too nitpicky on what players should and should not do. This led to having adverse effects on our servers, which in hindsight, I regret we went down that approach. So changing the name would be the fresh start we need, not to mention the server being reset.

I'm not trying to complicate this but I really have to agree with Vlex on this regarding dropping ZA from the name.
The argument that any former regulars would now join the server on account of it not formally being a ZA server would be nullified by the fact that any actual regular would realize very quickly that most of the players on the server are ZA and that it is, in fact, a ZA server.
Dropping ZA seems a little misleading to me......

It won't be misleading because soon as you enter our scripts say ZA stuff, ZA site, etc. It's just supposed to reflect that things are changing. If we keep it ZA Stats whatever name, no one will ever notice that we've reset the stats except for our regulars, and we're trying to get non-regulars to try us out. To do that we need to move our server to a different area on the list.

Star, thank you for clarifying. I took it as us trying to mask the server, so to speak.
Not a big deal to me either way then, but would prefer to have the tags. just my 2 cents

An alternative to dropping the tags might be to precede the server name by something like "*NEW*" or "*UPDATED*", to get people to check it out.
