^I totally agree with that. Also, I'd say Alcohol because it has such a detrimental effect on one's health such as loss of brain cells, fatigue, and unecessary conflicts, if they ever arise. I've seen a few of my friends who used to drink and go to parties non stop, and it got so bad, that one of my friends had 40-odd stitches in his arm for punching a glass door out of stupidy, and being drunk. He's been sober for about a year now, and went to rehab for about 3months.

I'd just like to point out a huge flaw in your argument.
Jesus turned water into wine. Are you saying wine isn't achohol? Or are you saying that Jesus isn't God? Either way, you're wrong.
Just because something is natural doesn't mean it is good for you. God made the apple in the Garden of Eden. Guess its okay to eat, God made it.
And so what if it's "natural"? Opium is in the poppy flower. Does that mean that we should all take heroin because it is natural?
Give me a bottle of grape juice. Let it sit. You have wine. You don't need to *do* anything to it to make it into alchohol. Alchohol, as we know it, is natural.

I'd also like to call attention to both Martyr and Allie. (If not only to start a bigger debate lol). Allie claims that Weed has killed many people, while Martyr states that weed has never caused anybody harm. If either is the case, could we pull out some (valid) sources and debate this?

Ok, i'll say it. When i was 17 years old after i did my research paper in advance composition my senior year in high school i discovered in my research you cannot take a lethal dose of marijuana. So, me and two other friends smoked up 2 ounces of pot in 2 hours. talkin about bein baked, but at one one point you no longer get any higher. it levels off and you simply do what stoner's called smoke yourself straight. That being said bodily harm no. Alcohol yes. There i said it. |

I say weed. personaly. i have knee probs an my kneck it shifted from a car wreck i had the night befor my wedding. id rather smoke a few hits an feel better then pop alot of ppills . an more poeple die from drinking then weed.
seriosuly how many people go out driving while stoned or high,,, not many alot of people drunk go out drunk to go get more drunk or buy more. weed makes u relaxed an not rlly wanna go do anything well for some. an wen i smoke i more concertrated on my i am doing. like driving. i drive bettter wen i high cuss im more aware. it depends on the person who is smoking it as well. an were u getting ur weed source from. not all weed is laced. some is i agree. but i bet it cost more as well. or if u do it urself then thats ur own fault. but wat does drinking do for a person? nada makes them stupid.. as weed makes u relaxed. weed also slows down cancer. witch drinking does not.
so i think weed is better. ... excusse my writing may be alil slopppy lol tired.

Plus they been makin that fake *weed* K2 or cloud 9.. witch actualy killed alot of people so they r trying to make something like weed ligal. but its not working. so y not just ligalize weed? my friends almost died in my kitchen from smoking the K2. he was in icu for 3days. drs thought he was doing to die. i mean weed aint that bad. i smoke it maybe 3time a month sometimes alil more. when i cant stand to be in pain. my family dr will not give me pain meds cuss he says im only 21 i dont need to be on them an get hooked so ive turned to the only other source for pain relieve, weed.
Id rather my mom smoke weed so wen i do have extra i send her some. she takes way to many pills that the Dr.s give her. an its killing her faster. Seriously weed is alot safer an better for people who know how to use it an know how much of it to smoke to feel good. an not get to high. but even getting to high cant hard you.
my sister is 1 example. she smoked weed. got to high thought she overdosed... went to the hospital. she was fine just smoked to much. lol.
but eh thats just my opinion. weed is better then pills N liquor/beer. but wine is fine aswell ... a glass a day is good for your heart.

Notice how she said weed laced with something.angel dust or cocaine is something else I have a realative that smoked weed laced with angel dust shes not dead. People die from drunk driving not driving while high people OD on pills and other drufs not weed , a other drug which I dont reccomend using because its a waste of money is Spice, thats a weed substitute yet you can OD it, and barley gets you high. And para im still not seeing whats wrong with weed yes if you lace weed with a diffrent drug then your changing the origonal form just like if yku lace juice with rat poision your changing the origonal form by adding something else to it, also

Ignoring for the moment the fact that cannabis increases the risk of psychotic mental illness by 40%, cannabis has the same smoking risks as tobacco, i.e. COPD and emphysema, but it is 6 times more likely to cause lung cancer, so yes there are many deaths occuring as a direct result of smoking it.
As for the mental side of things it can cause bipolar disorder, depression, mood swings or schizophrenia. I now know 2 people in mental hospitals due to smoking too much.
As for people who say its not addictive, the drug its self isnt addictive but people to get addicted to the high. cannibis use often also leads to heavier more extreme drug use and before you know it your on heroine.
Weed has also been shown to lower school averages and increase the drop out rates. |

Makes perfect sense. So why no one has died from marijuana.... huge coincidence? I think not.
The only real reason marijuana is illegal is because the way society makes the human mind work, marijuana kinda makes you think about things and lets you see the "truth".
I smoke almost on a daily basis, and every time I use marijuana, it slows down my thinking, (I over think/ think a lot), and helps me think more deeply and broader. I also use it for body pain/soreness, insomnia and to help me eat more.
Back to the thinking part. Such as one day I was thinking about if America truly runs on money. It does, I just noticed the biggest business now is drugs/medicine. Why you think so many Americans are in bad health or there is always something wrong? The point is to prescribe more drugs for more money. So now that's why everyone has a "problem", that for everything they will prescribe you something. Anyone else noticed that?
Btw, those are just one of my few second thoughts of my everyday life when I smoke. I like to smoke around smart people and converse about many world wide topics such as world wide problems, like poverty, global warming, economy, etc.
I am not addicted, but I do smoke a lot, you can say I'm a very wise marijuana smoker. It's all about using it in a good way. I do use it recreational 20% of the time though.
Most venoms and poisons are also natural. Does that mean they're good for you?
Marijuana does have negative effects, as pointed out by Castelli. And in my opinion, you shouldn't be taking anything that affects your mind, whether it feels good or not. (I don't take any drugs at all, not even painkillers btw)
Perhaps in the short term, you might be fine. But in the long term, your mind will be affected by the drugs and you will lose some of your mental stability. |

marijuana is definitly the worse of two evils. Funnily enough i'd say its easier to access than drink for younger generations, so they start it when they are young...... and due to marijuanas long term effects end up potatoes by their mid twenties. |
