Well in my opinion and this is just my opinion I think we should leave it as it is because I believe Cocoon is a valued member of ZA, never really caused any trouble, and also left on good terms because he needed to get his life back together as anyone would value that over an internet clan. With that being said if i had a choice in this matter I would give him back his original rank. Also because he's only be gone for a month.

what. the. fack? Seriously Buckshot? He left on good terms. Had a damn good reason. Why can't he resume his former spot? I understand the going behind back thing. But seriously that is not fair in any way or form. This shouldn't have even been an issue of whether he can resume his old rank..... >.>

Yes, Cocoon left the clan, and there should be consequences for that.
But considering what Cocoon has been through recently (which I understand b/c he told me), and how he left in good terms, I say he should be cut some slack at least.
Completely removing him from membership is too unjust in my taste.

I am pretty sure I told you as well that you would have to reapply but to confirm it with Star. I dont have xfire logs of it because I am not at home but I'm like 98% sure I told you that...

I don't agree with the decision but w/e I think that since he's only been gone like a month he wouldn't have even been demoted at this point if he just went afk and didn't even tell us anything I think a restore to rank or at least automatic trial membership should happen but w/e

Well there have been several issues with him actually, which is why he needed to reapply. He has raged at me on xfire several times, questioned the decision of admins in game and via xfire, gone over admins heads twice, and spams the servers. He's been talked to about all of the above by me, carn and buck (all leaders and coleader) with little improvement.
The decision wasn't baseless and wasn't because he left the clan. He was promoted accidentally and behaved badly when the problem was corrected. He accused us of bullying because he didn't get picked as a ZA favorite and because stuntman got admin and he didn't. Those behaviors led the leaders to believe that he wasn't fit for the corporal rank or the sergeant rank, and that all coincided with the time he left the clan. Him reapply would give everyone the chance to reevaluate if he was the right fit for za. I don't believe that he is, and I'm not the only one. His behavior has been under close watch since he first gave his password to both hobo and shawn. Shawn used his account to harass luna.
Anyway - the point is that the decision was NOT some stupid little thing.

If Cocoon had not left himself, would he still be at the rank of corporal? With the list of stuff Star gave us, no. Would he still be in the clan? Possibly.
I suggest we give it a week or two, maybe until it's been a month since he left, then let him reinterview. Cocoon, you were a decent member, you just need to calm down and not get ahead of yourself.

Final decision:
He can reapply with a leader or co leader in 1 month's time so long as no other issues occur. Level 3+ admins will discuss his history, behavior, and app - then come to a decision with majority rule.
