[12:39] [ZÅ]HatofLove: Secondly, I believe right and wrong should be decided by how much harm/good it does.
[12:39] [ZÅ] BrickSquad: Well who invented right or wrong?
[12:39] [ZÅ]HatofLove: i'm not saying anythign has to be right
[12:39] [ZÅ] BrickSquad: EXACTLY
[12:39] [ZÅ] BrickSquad: =)
[12:39] [ZÅ] BrickSquad: Thank you so much Hat
[12:39] [ZÅ]HatofLove: what does that even prove?
[12:39] [ZÅ] BrickSquad: You proved my point lpol
[12:40] [ZÅ] BrickSquad: my point that there is no such thing as right or wrong if homosexuality is natural and murder is natural too right?
[12:40] [ZÅ]HatofLove: that doesn't even make sense
[12:40] [ZÅ] BrickSquad: No, it's that you don't want to comprehend =)
I find this patronising.
[12:40] [ZÅ]HatofLove: natural and right are unrelated.
[12:40] [ZÅ]HatofLove: that's like saying an apple is a fruit and a tangerine is a fruit so there's no such thing as a potato
[12:40] [ZÅ] BrickSquad: right doesnt exist if you think we came from a microscopic thingy
I've explained what I think right is, it has nothing to do with evolution.
It means that there is nothing wrong with murder, it just there, according to your beliefs. That's what I'm trying to prove for your beliefs about evolution so I can make a clear stand for you.
[12:41] [ZÅ]HatofLove: in what way does it not exist?
[12:41] [ZÅ] BrickSquad: God doesn't exist according to you
[12:41] [ZÅ] BrickSquad: So we came from evolution?
[12:41] [ZÅ] BrickSquad: right?
[12:41] [ZÅ]HatofLove: yes
[12:42] [ZÅ] BrickSquad: So why can't i rape a girl? She will die and you know the cycle, nitrogen cycle, etc. gives back to Earth
[12:42] [ZÅ] BrickSquad: i mean murder*
This is a completely ridiculous thing to say. Because there is no God, you can rape a girl? Firstly, as Albert Einstein said, if we are only good people because we live in fear of a God then we're not good people at all (I'm paraphrasing). Secondly, again, right and wrong has nothing to do with evolution. Thirdly, does the nitrogen cycle stop existing if there's a God?
Yo the point is to stop explaining all your reasoning with the words good/bad/morals, you get me? That's just how we humans are (according to evolution), we murder, oppress, capitalism, wars, etc. is all natural the same way a crocodile eats other animals for it's interests. But our interests are way different because we have a wider range of intelligence which makes it have complex life and how everything works which makes it harder for people to comprehend life.
Dude your being really disrespectful. It's not the fear of God, you don't have to be scared of him if you just follow at least all/or most of the 10 commandments. Being born is beginning of your life, death is the end. If you suffer or have horrible pains or problems, it's just part of life, doesn't mean that God is punishing you and hates you, he loves all of his creations, such as homosexuals. It is wrong according to the 10 commandments, but he told us not to hate them, to love every human, and made plants and animals for us to use.
Why would the nitrogen cycle not exist of God is real? That doesn't makes sense. God made everything, since the beginning of time (the dimension we are in), hat's why when you go through a black hole time slows down for the person traveling through getting pulled by it's infinite gravity, that not even light can escape.
I think I proved how imperfect the 10 commandments are. If they're so perfect why does every country feel the need to add more? It's because the 10 commandments don't cover me setting fire to a school, that's why.
So you're saying that the 10th commandment stops me from committing arson because when I set fire to something it become mine? Well, fuck, I'm gonna set fire to someone's house. Then, when the fire's out, it's mine, right? Why dont' I set fire to a whole street and move away 1000 miles. I own an entire street in Ipswich and it'll stay mine forever because I'm not clearing it up. It's an incredibly flawed and stretched argument, Brick. The 10 commandments are decent guidelines but they're not by any means perfect laws.
READ THE FOLLOWING WORDS REAL CAREFULLY:
Yes it does. If you make a fire in the woods, it's your responsibility because you created it. Okay, those examples you used yo uare right, BUT.........who in their right mind want YOU TO KEEP EVERYTHING? The guy's house will try to sue you for trying to take away his home, which in these days you can get punished by him because he will ask for a SUM OF MONEY because you challenge him for a fight for the house, or call the police, because in most countries, by law you're not suppose to take justice for yourself, AM I RIGHT OR WRONG? Just like how humans fight over for territories, SAME THING! Which all coems down to NO STEALING. I JUST PROVED MY POINT CRYSTAL CLEAR.
I'm bored. I'm frustrated. I don't like the people who own it. I was made to do it by someone. I am being paid to do it. That enough?
That is causing harm to someone, which falls under no murder. Not liking the people for what reason? Why are you bored, not doing anything productive(WHICH FALLS UNDER NOT BEING LAZY AND WORK) ? Why are they paying you? Dude I need all the factors if you want a more accurate answer.
So the 10 commandments don't apply to the drugged out now? Interesting. Clearly, not the perfect laws.
DO NOT MURDER: Which means no heroin, no cocaine, no cigarettes, no drinking and driving, no popping pills at clubs, not getting intoxicated to the point you cannot control you movements which can cause harm, which harm leads to death = NO MURDER.

Well the many of the rich are trying to squeeze out as much as possible and make the gap from rich and normal/poor larger. Is that them being nice to you? Think again(;
Nice quote btw, but it is flawed. 10 commandments is not.

Hence the condition: "If you're nice to me." So if the rich aren't being nice to you, following that mantra you wouldn't be nice to them.
It's more a matter of mutual respect. I would, however, add the suggestion of sometimes initiating an act of kindness (of course expecting that kindness to be reciprocated), in fear of an infinite regress of 'you're not kind so I won't be.' Sometimes it's important to forgive and forget.
I think that the 10 Commandments are too specific, and the first 5 aren't of any moral importance as far as I can see.

So what you're saying is that I believe because something is natural therefore we shouldn't do anything to stop it? No: we are still moral creatures and if we see something natural that is clearly wrong (like someone punching someone in the face because of their sexual orientation) no one's gonna be thinking 'Ah, nature at work,' no matter whether they believe in evolution or not.
Dude your being really disrespectful.
What you are saying to me is that because of my beliefs, because I believe in evolution, I am pro-murder and pro-rape. I'd say that's pretty disrespectful.

Remind me which commandment goes against homosexuality, would you? I don't remember that one.
Why would the nitrogen cycle not exist of God is real? That doesn't makes sense.
My point exactly. What I meant was that if God exists the nitrogen cycle is still there. The girl's body will still be given back to the earth if God's there or not. So I fail to see your argument there.
This has got to the point where we're just pissing each other off. I've repeated myself plenty of times and any argument I give from here is just going to be a repeat of an earlier one in a different wording. Final words: nature is not always right.

I know the first five aren't moral importance according to evolution, but that's why I said if you follow most of the 10. Which is why in the other threads I said that even atheists would most likely be forgiven if they lived a good life, not their fault most of the time.
Is your head stuck up somewhere it shouldn't be? The first lien doesn't make sense. Because according to evolution, everything we do is natural. Even thinking something is right or wrong, it's natural for us to think like that. But there IS NO RIGHT OR WRONG, according to evolution.
When I see someone getting punched for being homosexual I see this, READ CAREFULLY:
Me: Dam that sucks, oh well he was homosexual, which means he was a more likely target of randomly getting punched in the face than a heterosexual for their sexual orientation. There's always a reason for what happened, only God knows, he will do the punishment after each person finishes life (which is after they die). Remember, God knows all the factors that played in the whole scenario of the homosexual getting punched.
What you are saying to me is that because of my beliefs, because I believe in evolution, I am pro-murder and pro-rape. I'd say that's pretty disrespectful.
Well now I see it. You are confused on your beliefs. If you believe in evolution, you CANNOT BE AGAINST MURDER OR RAPE. It's like saying I believe God, but I am against having ONE GOD instead of THREE. You do not have a solid stance, please find your balance and stay on it.
Remind me which commandment goes against homosexuality, would you? I don't remember that one.
First of all, you know most homosexuals are not married and have more multiple partners than a heterosexual that is not married? That greatly increases the chances of bad things going around (you know what I mean). Which means that is murder (by spreading HIV and other bad sexual things). Also it is a sin to your body. Fornication and adultery are closely related, then you can see where the relation is. Hat you are a smart young adult.
We all know according to God sex before marriage is wrong. So fortification is already wrong. Have you noticed how married couples are so happy for decades on end? I just love seeing two old people in their 80's or 90's holding hands walking down the street, cutest thing ever. But of course you are thinking how marriage is now-a-days, because WE HUMANS MAKE IT THE WAY IT IS, there are actual GOVERNMENT BENEFITS just by being married, wtf. I THOUGHT MARRIAGE WAS ABOUT LOVE BETWEEN A MAN AND A WOMAN BY GOD. Now we are even letting homosexuals get married, DO YOU SEE WHERE THE WORLD IS COMING TO?
My point exactly. What I meant was that if God exists the nitrogen cycle is still there. The girl's body will still be given back to the earth if God's there or not. So I fail to see your argument there.
Let me make it clearer to you, READ CAREFULLY:
Nitrogen cycle is always there. But the girl's soul is not. I will be punished for murdering the girl during/(and/or) after my life is over.
Life = Birth to Death
Now according to evolution, nitrogen cycle still exists and that murder was just part of life. Then I only will be punished by OTHER HUMANS because THEY BELIEVE it's wrong. Remember, there is no such thing as right or wrong if God doesn't exist and if our judgement of right or wrong is according to how much harm/damage the action does.
What if homosexuality was created to stop overpopulation?
We don't know, only God does. I don't think we are near overpopulation in the world, but in certain areas of the world yes, such as China...
Well now I see it. You are confused on your beliefs. If you believe in evolution, you CANNOT BE AGAINST MURDER OR RAPE.
I lied. I'm replying to this. Not only are you telling me that you know what I believe more than I do (I assure you that you clearly don't), which I find to be pretty patronising, you are outright saying that that anyone who believes in evolution also believes that murder and rape are fine, which I find to be pretty disrespectful. If anyone here is confused, clearly it is you. All my answers for this and everything else you mentioned are repeated multiple times in my posts above. I don't want to spell them out yet another time; just read what I've already written more carefully.
Needless to say I can't open this thread without getting angry now so I won't

I never said I know your believes. I'm saying if you really believe in evolution, then you should drop your morals for backing up everything. Because MORALS ARE NOT FACTS. So don't use them PLEASE AND THANK YOU.
The same way God believers cannot prove that God exists.
It looks like you ran out of facts to use, now you are using "morals" to back up your reasoning. That's like trying to prove God with a picture of him. It really pisses me off how a smart man like you cannot just say, "Oh, I was wrong in that part".
Being wrong is not weak, it's about knowledge is power. When I make mistakes, I say "yeah I was wrong and you we're right, my bad.", then I think to myself, "Well now I know the true answer, maybe I can share it with people (educating others).
Humanity. Humanity as a whole, whatever gave us the ability to exist, whatever gave us the power to think, it all ended with freedom. And with freedom came the illusion of free will, and with that chaos.
Everyone in the planet is selfish and evil. There is no singular human that is perfect at all. Everyone on this planet "sins" or does something they're not supposed to because we all have the insitnct of survival and we as humans will do anything to achieve that goal until we finally pass away. Whether the factor of murder, rape, homosexuality, abortion, stealing, adultery is "natural" or not, I'd like to think so. But I guess cause of society today we all think that it isn't otherwise.
Humanity is also capable of warfare, something that truly disgusts me, but why is it that homosexuality is so looked down upon but something as horrid as warfare and torture isn't? I don't get it, perhaps it's a double standard.
Regardless, I hold a very nihlistic and Thomas Hobbes point of view on the world. Read some books on this type of philosophy, it's quite interesting and it helped me open my eyes on different aspects of this world. Perhaps we are all imperfections. A cancer to the world that needs fixing.
