Where do you live

Well my ZA friends I've wondered this for a while because of how we come from all over the world so if you're comfortable with it i'd like to see pictures of the areas you all live in
This is my Backyard
some fruit trees and a big oak that I enjoy climbing
Colorado National Monument a few days ago this is overlooking the town
So that's pretty much where I live I have more pictures I may post later but I didn't want to overwhelm the page in one post

Most of ya'll know I live in Texas, very south in the little corner where the water meets Mexico - so it's a pretty unique setting, some of the best birding in the world. It's very hot and humid with little rainfall and no snow. It's usually brown/green all around with short wide trees. VERY VERY flat land, primarily below sea level.
Here is the skyline of the city we live in, few buildings are more than 2 or three stories high. Lots of farm land and woods all over (LOTS), very little congestion. I took all these pics, btw.
Here is what our beach looks like. It's not a surfing destination, very calm usually, and since it's the gulf, it's very muddy water, medium fine dark brown sand. Big spring break tourist spot, few years ago was ranked #5 spring break destination. We're about 45 minutes away.
This is three or four blocks down from our apartment.
And this is what a normal South Texas sunset looks like: hot pink.
We get lots of birders from around the world because we're a huge stop for birds that travel during the winter. Also, we have a winding Resaca (which is like a slow river), that runs throughout every city from the Colorado River:

We live in a really pretty area and I love it, except I hate the people. It's a very poor area, lots of illegals. Also, about 80% or more of our population is on welfare, highest illiteracy rates in the country, high violence/crime/drug crimes, etc. We'll probably be moving to Central Texas in the next 5 years. That's the long-term goal.

I live in New Zealand... I is from zee future. Don't think I have any pictures but if I find some I'll post them. It's very pretty here... A lot of untouched beaches, forests etc. Always very green even when it doesn't rain for a while. Where I live we have quite a lot of land. We have a big KiwiFruit orchard which covers most of it but we also have a big native bush which is home to many many Kiwi birds. For those that don't know the Kiwi is a flightless bird which is rare and native to New Zealand. We also have a motocross track for me to practice on as I race motocross... At the moment it is Summer here to but it doesn't get that hot... Where I live it gets to round 30 celcius max and in winter about 0 celcius at it's coldest. That is all, good day.
