I have been staying at my father's house for the past 2 weeks. About a week ago something weird started to happen.
When ever I stand up after laying down, I start to feel really dizzy and my vision would get fuzzy and it becomes really hard to focus. I have talked to a few people about this, and they have said that they get this sometimes as well. I am getting worried because the amount of time I feel dizzy and see dots/fuzziness is getting longer and in the past few days I have noticed that sometimes at night I will loss sense of where I am or what I am doing.
About an hour ago I stood up to use the restroom and as usual, I felt the dizziness. The bathroom is right next to my room, but the hallway is dark so I have to feel my way there. On the way there, I felt it really bad but I slipped into the bathroom. IDK what happened then, but I lost all sense of where I was and what i was doing. I didn't even know I was in the bathroom, I thought I was in a small room just big enough to fit me. Strange thoughts were rushing through my head. Part of me was terrified because it was dark and I had no idea where I was, but the other part of me was completely lost in thought. I was thinking about the grey void from Halo, slow rendering times in Minecraft, food, it was completely random and it was all flashing throughout my head. After about a few seconds, I started to feel around and finally realized I was standing in my bathroom.
I don't know what is causing this. I don't take any medication, and I haven't eaten anything strange. I don't know what is causing this and i am getting very worried. I lay down when I play halo so this happens about 5 or 6 times a day. I don't know what to do. |

This could be caused my any number of things ranging from simply not having enough fluids to having a blood clot slowing down the brain to your head
however judging by the fact that your profile says you're 15 i'd say it's most likely an unhealthy diet just throwing your body out of whack
I'd suggest taking a couple days off of gaming maybe go to a swimming pool or something and work out whatever is in your system and for about a week stick to a diet of fruits vegetables and non processed meats also lay off soda and other unhealthy drinks and stick to juice, low fat milk, and water after that i'd bet you feel fine and dandy
if it were to continue being a problem obviously a doctors visit may be necessary
My source is that i used to have problems like this and after a week or so of doing this i felt just fine

How much water do you drink? Being dehydrated can cause dizzyness and fatigue. When I used to drink only soda I would dehydrate myself alot of times but I quit drinking soda almost a year ago and now drink water. Humans are like 70% water so you do need it in your system.
Drink at least 8 bottles of water everyday. Drink water until your pissing clear and then drink some more lol. It will help your health overall.

Oh yea and standing up super fast after laying down or being on the ground causes the blood to rush to your head and makes you dizzy.

Vigil said it pretty well.
It could be any number of things but at your age it is most likely a combination of things.
poor eating - dump those donuts mate and pick up an apple instead. Poor diet causes somany problems so just be sure to cut the junk out and have some fruit if you want a snack. smoothies are a good way to fill you up and get your fruit.
dehydration - as A said be sure to drink LOTS of water, this will just help flush out your system and rehydrate. dehydration will cause dizzyness and leave you feeling ill too.
excercise - this one you will probably notice things the most, just be sure its a cardio workout and not something like weights, swimming, cycling and running are probably the best things to do. Be sure yoh drink plenty as you do exercise.
exercising will increase circulation, release hormones that will boost your mood and chances are you will feel better straight away |

I used to have the same problem, and it still comes back now and again. I think it's because I don't sleep enough, drink enough water. I don't really know. You should visit your GP if you haven't already. Hope you get better soon.

Get into the natural Circadian Rhythm.
Eat lots of pasta and fruits for energy.
Stay away from energy drinks.
Get up and walk for at least 30 minutes a day.
Drink water. You don't need to drink loads of it. Drink it until you begin to feel full.
Seriously, that's about all you need to have a healthy body.

To me it sounds like you are describing the symptoms of someone with low blood pressure. Since you are young though, it most likely is caused by your diet. If you eat a lot of sugary things it could be also that you have too high of blood sugar. When you eat a lot of sugar, your blood literally thickens like syrup and it doesn't flow as well. This can cause lightheadedness, dizziness as well as fatigue. If your blood can't carry oxygen and nutrients to your body as efficiently as it should, you will feel bad.
You should probably go to the doctor.

I had this same problem at your age llamas. I got tested and found that I have a low blood sugar problem. Borderline, but low nonetheless. The doctors suggested DO NOT go more than 5-6 hours without eating something. Preferably something healthy. Do that for about a week and see how you feel. |

You haven't been exercising much lately have you? Nobody here will be angry with you for taking a break every couple hours. Also you should sit instead of lay down when you play halo. Also don't stretch immediately afyer you stand up or you might hit the floor.

If I can give one piece of advice...don't ever....EVER get an inner ear infection. Why you ask?, because I passed out in the gaming section at walmart in front of people...was embarassing. So pls make sure it isn't an inner ear infection, you won't feel sick or anything, when you stand up you become dizzy/light headed. I don't know about vision, but damn sure passing out is a side effect of the infection. So be cautious

it sounds like a few different things.
First, like carn said, blood pressure - not eating enough, low iron, blood clot, infection, meds, can cause this. if you also have shortness of breath of feel like you can't get enough air - it could also be this. should see doctor.
next,it also kinda sounds like vertigo, which is an inability to balance and has to do with the ears and how they keep you balanced. causes dizziness and fainting and things of that nature.
could also be gasses or something in the house, do you have any natural gas lines in your house?
Anyway - anything that causes dizziness warrants a trip to the doctor's office, so you should visit the doc.
