Hello peoples; my name is Nuggets (obviously). Thank you guys very much for allowing me to be a part of ZA!
A little about me (the long story): I'm currently attending the University of Florida, but am looking into transferring to a university with a better Computer Sciences program (I'm looking into the University of Chicago). I've played Halo off and on for about 7 years now and became interested in hosting a server about two and a half years ago. For a while, I hosted the server via the Halo lobby every night and ran every gametype I could think of. I soon found it was possible to go beyond Halo's gametype limitations and became interested in Phasor and scripting. I opened [SC]Nuggets' Playground about a year and a half ago, which ran about 500 unique gametypes at its peak. The server was intentionally made to have the largest possible variety. It went offline around September of last year, but has since come back and now has about 5,000 unique gametypes. All gametypes are added on basis of suggestions, so if you have any suggestions for me, let me know!
Other than Halo, I primarily play RockBand. I usually play to practice drums (I'm a drummer in a local band); you can plug in a real electronic drumset and play RockBand as if you're actually playing the drums. I'm in the top 1% in the world for scores on 60 songs and #1 in the world on Urgent by Foreigner for Pro Drums Expert.
Aside from drums (as far as real instruments go), I also play guitar, bass, ocarina, keyboard/piano, bongos, glockenspiel, and sing. My favorite band is Rush, but I listen to a very wide variety of music from multiple influences. I also enjoy programming, photography, being outside at nighttime, piña coladas and getting caught in the rain, astronomy, geology, and just about any other science or math subject.
The short story: Yes, my name used to be McNuggets, and no I am not edible.
