So Sony made the offical Announcement of the ps4 the other day.
Now obviously they didn't reveal the juicy details many wants to know. Such as the looks of the console or cost...or detailed specs. But they did reveal it'll have 8GB Ram. That a lot of ram lol.

The big day when they will reveal more info on ps4 and xbox 720 is june 11-13 at the E3 gaming event. There strong rumours that microsoft will reveal some info reguarding xbox 720 prior to the E3 event. Also that the console will come out before holiday ( Christmas)
My question to you...
Which console you think your going to buy?

They released detailed enough specs. I'm pretty sure they even revealed the exact graphics card they're using. And the processor. Oh and the amount of RAM(Which is GDDR5 btw, which I'm suspicious about)
However, the Xbox 720 hasn't been announced yet. So there's no comparison. I really don't see the point in comparing a just announced console with a console that isn't even confirmed to exist yet.(It might not ever exist. Microsoft's starting to turn it's strategies around for the better. Xbox might not be a good plan for them)
If there is an Xbox though and it's pricing is anything like the PS4's, I'll buy both. (The PS4's been confirmed to be in the $250 to $300 price range. That's very cheap for what it is)

I'll probably end up getting both but i think i'll get the 720 first unless the reveal at E3 really impresses me
I used to like playstation more with the ps2 i didn't like the ps3 nearly as much so i guess it matters how the reveal looks

Of course the 720, what kind of stupid gaming debate is this? Sony is always a failure to console gaming just like Nintendo. They can't make enough sales like the 360. That's why you even see a lot of PS3 games being ported over to 360 as well.
360 > PS3
720 > PS4
Microsoft > Sony

But on the other hand, my gaming PC is like a console god. ^_^

I prefer the 360 too but Sony and Nintendo a failure to gaming? And you're basing this off sales? I'm guessing you're fairly new to gaming history.
Check out the sales figures for the PS2 and the Wii:
Sixth Gen
PS2: 153.6 million
Xbox: 24 million
Gamecube: 21.6 million
Seventh Gen
Wii: 99.38 million
360: 75.9 million
PS3: 70.2 million (as of September 2012 - the other two are from after Christmas)
No matter which way you look at it, both Nintendo's and Sony's home game consoles have had a greater impact on gaming than Microsoft's, especially considering Microsoft only came into the running in the sixth generation. Nintendo ruled home console gaming right from the 80s until the Sony PlayStation. The Playstation 2 is still the best selling console of all time and was only discontinued last month.
Whatever happened in the last generation, Nintendo and Sony are by no means 'failures to console gaming'.
