I just want to say this is not a common occurrence but is unbelievably annoying when it happens...
When you are already in the server and you have been playing, the game ends & everyone chooses a map. Once you start loading your map you get kicked and it says the server is full... Is there any way to fix this bug??? is it because when your loading the map your not actually in the server as a registered player and someone tries to join the server which fills the space you were going to use?
please tell me this is fixable xD
I just got kicked twice recently because of this bug. |

this is no a bug related to my server. or the system we use to script our servers. its simply how halo was designed.
it was never designed to have 40+ people trying to enter a full server on game swap.
its setup to only consider players "in the server" during a game. the reason for that is because on game change, it must resend all connection packets to ensure clients are all connected. (remember, back in the day connections were not as reliable). so the only way to fix this would be to disallow joining when game is "at end" i can try to fix this, either by scripting or a memory edit. ill look into it however |

I also dislike this, and due to circumstances, and I can't do much about it.

Rabid would have a heck of a time with this, being on dial-up. That stinks, bro.

Thats what i thought SlimJim... But yeah i was thinking that a script could be made to not be able to join while the game is starting, only once its started and that theres a 5-10s period where they wont be forced to be a zombie when they join. Idk if this is possible just giving an idea. owel thanks anyway. |

wouldn't be a bad idea. Another thing i was thinking of Slimjim is you could write a script so any [ZÅ] member who tries to join the server will always be able to join and it will kick someone, like someone who has been playing for a really long time or something, if it's possible to make a script like that in halo. |

I disagree Devase, that not fair for non-member players...the members here were all a non-member at one time. |

Yeah, I guess it would be abit much just for normal clan members being able to get in. But its a good idea doing it for admins. |

Last I checked with Oxide kicking players when an admin joins a full server isn't possible. |

Well, I'd say that only admins should be allowed for the auto kick thing. And specific admins at that. Also, it would be cool to run another server. Since we have a very popular one already, but i don't know whether that is possible or not.

Smiley, you obviously don't know slim very well then. Slim can do anything he wants. He just has to change things around in the thingy-majiger, tweak the do-dads, and fumble with the whatchamacallits, and bingo-bango its done lol |

When Oxide tried it he basically ended up having to make more than 16 players connect to the server, which isn't feasible. If you can figure out a different way to do it though, that would be great. I've been wanting a feature similar to this for a while now. |
