Mustang. Easier on your wallet when it comes to gas.

Hardly. Unless you're lucky enough to find a V-6 model. Honestly, call me crazy, but I'd strongly recommend a Toyota sedan of some sort. Most of them are front wheel drive (great for snow, if you live in that climate) and are excellent on fuel economy. More space than a Mustang, cheaper insurance, and the bastards run forever if you take care of them. My girlfriend's got a '92 Corolla with 300,000 miles on it. Car still purrs like a kitten, never had any problems with engine or powertrain. In fact, she's just now had to put ball joints and coil springs on it.

I've driven a sports car and now I drive a truck. I highly recommend the truck. You'll get much more use out of it. You won't look like a pussy. They don't call it a 'bed' for nothing. Cheaper insurance. Less speeding tickets (statistically). safer (statistically).
Truck.
Seriously.

Anyways I can easly maintain mine, it dosn't take up much gas.
Get a sunbeam or old voltswagon if you wanna save gas money.

Nissan Sentra is another one you might want to look at.

Since I'm the oldest, here is my recommendation. If you don't care about gas milages get the pickup of choice, I prefer GM cause of gas milage. If you want economy go for a Honda. My wife has a 96 and runs like a top. If you want to catch girls get a Cooper Mini, good on gas and is cool. Don't buy new, get a good used one. Pay for mechanic to check out unless it's Carmax. Mazda has a good little SUV too. Go to car.com, edmunds.com and read review. |

I have an 07 Impala. its got a huge trunk and is FWD which is good in snow. I get about 30mpg hiwghway. Its not a little dinky car but its also not sucking down gas like a truck which can get like 20mpg at best. I would highly discourage you from purchasing a mustang because they are not practical as they really only seat 2 comfortably. also they arent super great on mpg unless you get a V6 model. they are also RWD which is the worst in snow and ice. If you are hellbent on a truck I would suggest a small one like a ford ranger or a chevy S-10 or similar. Also keep in mind foreign cars are generally more reliable. So to marry the good mpg and truck capabilities you should get a Honda Ridgeline. lol.
