Beta Server Alpha Bonus

I was wondering, how many people want the alpha bonus back? For those who don't know what the alpha bonus was, it doubled your score. So, say you got 500 credits in a game as the alpha zombie. Then you have the 10% end game bonus. So that is 550 credits. It would double the the 550 credits so you would have 1100 credits. |

There is no last man reward, Einstein. The player is ONLY getting the ALPHA BONUS, NOTHING ELSE.

The person who was last man IS the going to be the alpha. The last man usually is the one with the most credits before the game ends. So basically he is not only going to get the Big CR reward for being last man, but get another Big reward the next game for alpha.
No. Completely wrong. There is no last man reward. You are just coming off as stupid. The reward is for the alpha. There is no saying whether the winner of the last game will do good as an alpha so he may NOT get that big bonus. He may not get ANY kills as alpha the next game. There should be SOME sort of perk for being chosen randomly as alpha. |

heres how it is now, humans are getting overrun, theyr like hmm last man and alpha or not last man and get another chance on another map as human?
most choose the latter.
with the readded alpha cR then humans would be like
lets be last man! they get a bonus for being zombie.

I for one vote no to bringing it back as I find the cr distribution to be very fair as it currently stands.
@MasterA: Smiley fixed the script so that if an admin changes team to human from an alpha he does not get the alpha bonus. I suggested this to him when I got my ~30600 cr in one game. Though admittedly that was as an alpha, I just noted at the time that he should change it so that admins don't get an alpha bonus when team switching and he fixed it.
I take all opportunities to make myself awesome.

Okay, well that solves a big problem. I hate when I'm alpha and I do really good... then get like 30cR at the end of a game. It's like... rly? that sucked. But with the alpha bonus and you do good as an alpha, you get the bonus you deserved. The alpha's work is way harder than the humans work therefore, the alpha should get a bigger reward. Look at it like welding. You can stick weld and make $30 an hour, or wire weld and make $10 an hour. Why? Stick welding is harder. You should get more payment if your job is harder than other peoples. The alphas deserve the bonus. |
