The Recordings

"During a raid on an old facility, we came across these recorded tapes. The tapes appeared to be rather good in condition in some sort of sony walkman. The facility appeared to be abandoned for quite sometime. From the looks of things, it appears to have been built before even ZA was founded"


Recording one

After procuring samples of the posion, we examined the vials containing them. What is odd is that these are some sort of virus. Rna or dna, we cannot tell at this time. More studying of the samples have been made.

Recording 2

We cannot continue with research until proper .... test subjects.... From what little we know, a certain tribe along the beaver creek swamps have been using this poison for years as some sort of ritual. Those that survive are given power beyound the human limits... some even surpassing the infamous spartans. However, those that do not survive, are ... well we do not know yet.

Hi hi hi hi everybody! daddy isnt here right now, and since he and mommy are always doing sciency stuff, they're never around to play with me. So its just me and my teddy, bugs.

Recording 4

We have had our first sample "a woman's voice" we -- ahh stop it i'm trying to work! "sounds of kissing" The subject has been exposed to the poison code named Nemesis 343. The subject, a rat has grown a larger muscle mass, higher metabolism --- stop! already Paul! not yet! --- Anyways with higher metabolism, the subject has an increase of hunger, and requires double feeding.... All right fine lets mmmph oh oh... wait "recording stops there"

Recording 5

It appears the subjects flesh has rotted off, some sort of necrosis has taken hold. Subject has been in a state of progressing necrosis, yet doesn't die. The subject has been killed for an examination of its post mortem. After it had been killed, we were shocked to find out that the animal was in fact dead, yet the motor skills were still functioning. Parts of the brain were malformed (almost mutated), the heart and lungs were not functioning, as well as the liver and other organs had shut down. While the creature was alive (or dead in this case) still had a need to feed. More experiments are needed.

Recording 6

We have specific orders from the higher ups. We are to use the virus on the captured biologits. We first injected the virus into a white female (to test the effects on gender and race). She screamed and kicked so much we we forced to gag her, and use restraints. The virus was also injected into an older blackmale in his 50s, proballly the same professor type as my old boss hahahaha. We decided to ignore the other male for now. But his turn will come. The exact time for males (gender and race isnt a factor, but immune system is), was about 23.2 hours. The female 12.4 hours. Some of the locals have been brought to the facility to furhter the experimen- Susan! what did i say about intterupting daddy's work?! "females voice" but daddy! i'm lonely there arent any other kids to play with, and the guards ignore me! everyone ignores me! "an older females voice" susan, howabout i take you out, we could stop by the cafe for some ice cream and talk to some of my friends. "younger female" okay mommy....

anyways, the locals infants have been used as well. The exact time was a mere 6 hours... before they became... undead... or dubbed zombies
we are working now to increase the zombie's intelligence, as per the contract. signing off

Recording 7

we have succeeded in creating a kind of intelligent zombie, it can mimic movement, and pick up objects as weapons (yet they still cannot recognize threats to their own survival. Such as they were charge a machine gunner's post in an attempt to gain raw meat. Further experiments, and we have created a zombie that mimics human speech. This particular zombie has---- wait wth HOLY SHIT! HE JUST SMASHED A REINFORCED CEMENT WALL with his fist! hmm however, he cannot break through the titanium alloy luckily, for a moment i thought he was going to get out.

i do not know how to say this, but one of the prisoners has escaped into the surrounding countryside, not only that, but the beast is loose in the facility, i know this, because 2 of the guards have been ripped in half

Susan! Janet! we have to go now! "young female" daddy i'm scared! "man's voice" we have to "loud explosion, screams and cries are heard, and a gnawing sound went on for 30 minutes until footssteps are heard leaving, gand growing fainter, the recording cuts there"

"after hearing these tapes, our leader had decided to take these as important documents. As we left on our hogs, i had the faint sense that something was watching us from a window. I looked up back at the facility and saw something man shaped staring back at us. I looked back again and saw nothing more"
