plus xbox abuses the publishers of games...if they want the game on the xbox system they have to let xbox release the info first and have to realease on xbox first... there are exception such as assas

pac man my xbox broke too i have to use it upside down cuz the disc tray keeps opening... my ps3 has never broken and it runs faster then my xbox.

Vigil just got elevated to awesome status for recommending a 360, definitely recommend a 360, tho if you're not interested in Kinect, get a 360 Elite there is no difference between the S and the E
